Where were you?

Katsuki quickly swim up the cliff and before he swim away he once looked back down and saw Eijirou smiling at him as he waved him goodbye. Katsuki smirk at Eijirou and turn around and swim away from the area heading towards the village.

Katsuki swim quickly through the coral reefs and pass the swaying seaweed until he swim at the entrance of the village. He let a sigh knowing he will only open his shop for a few hours before he has to close his shop for the day from how much light there was left of the day.

Katsuki slowly swim his way through the village waving at young the guppies as they play wand waved back him as he passes by them. He slowly made his way towards his shop and until he was in front of his store. He swim in his store and flip the sign showing that the store was open now.

A few mer quickly swim inside and asked if their orders were done and Katsuki said that there were and he quickly went behind and grabbed them. The mers paid for their things and swim out of the store quickly to get back home. After an hour with no one else showing up Katsuki decided to close the shop for the day and go home for dinner until someone swim in.

Katsuki looked up and saw that it was Hanata that had decided to ruin his plan.

"What is it that you want soy sauce". Katsuki said as he decided to check his supplies just in case if Hanata wanted to ask him for something. Especially if he wanted Katsuki to make a necklace or a bracelet for Mina. Katsuki heard Hanata sigh as he swim closer to Katsuki before he stop and said nothing.

Katsuki got irritated from the silence and turn around to Hanata to get lost, but immediately stop once he saw his face. Katsuki swim around his desk top and swim up to Hanata. "What's wrong Hanata?"Katsuki asked and got no response from him, he decided to ask him again until he heard a mumble coming from him.

"Hanata I can't hear what you say if your just going to mumble, so speak up." Katsuki said as he waited for Hanata to say what he hair said before.

"Where were you?" Hanata said at first.

"What?" Katsuki asked and that had cause Hanata to glare at him.

"Where were you Katsuki? Because after seeing you in the morning I was hoping to ask you to make me something at your shop, but once I got there you weren't there. I remember that you always open your shop at a normal time, but you didn't today and I knew that something was wrong. So I went searching for you and asking the entire village if they had seen you today. Guess what?! They told me they hadn't seen you and the last time they saw you was yesterday when you closing up shop. So tell me Katsuki where were you this morning?" Hanata said as he glared at Katsuki daring him to lie in his face.

Katsuki couldn't believe what he saw, he saw Hanata the boy who usually smiles at everyone and never was sad the entire time he known him. But right now he saw Hanata crying for the first time in his life. He slowly swim towards some more and slowly reach his arms out and Hanata saw this because within seconds Hanata was hugging Katsuki.

Katsuki slowly rap his arms around him and let the man cry out all of his sadness. Hanata pulled him down to sit on the ground as he continue to hug Katsuki.

Katsuki let Hanata do what he wants because he knows that Hanata had always treats him as his younger brother when he first found him. So he kinda of understand why Hanata is reacting like this, he too would act the same way Hanata is if he had a younger sibling that had disappeared without telling him.

So he sat there with Hanata and let him get all the sadness out of him as he combs through his hair. After a while Hanata stop crying but didn't let Katsuki go. Katsuki knew that he would have to tell Hanata the truth if he wants to be let go from Hanata's death grip and also to close up his shop to go home. Katsuki let out a sigh as he continues to combs through Hanata's hair.

"Hanata I know you are still upset right now not knowing where I was this morning and that you couldn't find me for hours, I tell you what happen. But please listen to what I have to say and don't interrupt me while I tell you, okay Hanata." Katsuki said and saw Hanata nod.

"How could I not interrupt you when you just said please." Hanata said and started to laugh a little bit. Katsuki punch him in the shoulder and that had cause Hanata to laugh even more as he rubbed his shoulder, and Katsuki chuckle a tiny bit.

"Alright this morning when I woke up I decided to go gather more supplies for my shop and went to my usual place, but I haven't told anyone that the usual place I got to get my supplies is at the....... cliff." Katsuki said softly and saw Hanata's eyes flew open, and before Hanta could say something Katsuki beat at it.

"Yes I know it dangerous but no one goes there and I find peace there to just..... think about my life, past, present, and future. Sometimes I prefer to be by myself and I found that place. So as I was saying I went to the cliff this morning to get more supplies and when I got all I needed I look over the cliff and saw the most beautiful shell I ever seen before. I knew that I needed that shell, so I went down the cliff and almost grabbed the shell before I saw some that scared me." Katsuki said and saw Hanata looked at him worried, but Katsuki kept combing Hanata's hair.

"I must have hit my head and cause me to black out, and I believe hours later I woke up and was about to leave when I saw the mer that scared me. This mer is not like any mer creatures we have ever seen, he was nice but he also had the most shitty hair I have ever seen. He looked after me when I had blacken out and never left my side." Katsuki said as he switch his hand to his other hand to continue to comb Hanata's hair.

"So Soy Sauce went to come with tomorrow to see the mer creature that looked after me?"
