Fenwynn approached the wolf sitting on the ground, Nelda had told him all that he had to say the night before, He had done enough in his life to warrant his death but he was his sister's mate and that was another problem in of itself, how would killing this wolf affect her? If not for that he would be dead already. His mouth felt dry with distaste as he looked down on the young man before him he looked, young for his twenty-nine years. He did not look like a monster, he looked so ordinary. Sat on the ground, his hands bound in silver and tied to the wagon. sighing his face softening he reached down handing him the cup of water he held in his hand.

"Thank you" Tom looked up at the tall elf taking the cup in his hands he raised it to his lips.

Fenwynn wanted to walk away, disgust at what this person had done and his momentary compassion warring within him making his stomach churn he did not even want to imagine his sister mated to the wretch.

"Wait please I would speak with you?"

"What do you want wolf " Fenwynn snapped, the wolf in front of him flinched and paused seeming uncertain to continue "What do you want?" he sighed softening his voice.

"I...I, Would like to speak to the wolf who protects the boy"  he spoke barely loud enough to be heard as he hung his head, Fenwynn could feel shame coming from him, he was not as good at feeling emotions as his sister was but if the emotion was strong enough he could, this wolf reeked of shame.

"I will speak to him, though I cannot say if he will speak with you". Fenwynn turned and walked away from him, returning to the others he sat on the ground next to Edward.

They needed to plan what their next steps would be. Should they trust the information the wolf gave them? though he had gotten nothing from him to sense that he was lying to them, he was an underling of Gregor's and had done unspeakable things under his orders. Nelda wanted to wait and see, he had never known his sister to be so unsure and it bothered him. He could see that the mate pull was already having an effect on her they needed to decide on what to do about him soon for her sake the longer they left it the harder it would be on her.

Aylefred poured himself a cup of water draining it instantly wiping his mouth with the back of his hand before speaking in a hushed tone, he did not want their conversation to be heard "Edward I think we should make a stand here they will be aware by now that we have their companion they will probably be thinking that we have captured him,  from the conversation my brother and I had with him earlier he has been wavering in his loyalty for this Kellen and his belief in what the Alpha has them ordered to do for some time now, ".

"And you think we should trust him Aylfred? The man is a monster?" Edward spat.

Fenwinn could not say he blamed him for his anger, the shock that so many children had died while he remained safely hidden with Darrius was overwhelming him with guilt. He felt that he and the boy had hidden themselves away and others had suffered as a consequence, his guilt was as heavy as the other wolf's shame he thought.

"I think that we should not trust him immediately but perhaps we might give him a chance to redeem himself for the wrong he has done". Fen proposed though it did not sound convincing even to himself.

"Are you serious? Edward spat angrily. ''Are you asking this as a leader or because your sister is that monster mate?"  his eyes flashed red, as his wolf's suppressed anger broke free from the constraints he had placed on him and rushed to the forefront of their shared consciousness. they both wanted nothing more than to tear the bastard limb from limb, the only thing stopping him was the elves.

"Whatever the reason wolf, my brother wills it" Aylfred stood in front of the angry wolf one hand on his sword.

''Enough Aylfred, fighting among ourselves will not solve the issue at hand brother, there are two men out there who will be coming for us all including him. Do you think that they will allow him to walk away? I have no reason not to believe that he lied about his friend wanting out or that he was killed for it.
