Chapter 02 - Dinner
"Ate! Open the door!" I groaned when I heard my little sister knocking on the door. 'Yung eyeliner ko, lumagpas!
Padabog akong tumayo at binuksan ang pinto.
"Bakit? What do you want?" Bungad ko sa kanya with my brow raised.
"Do'n ka nga!
"Nice dress." She complimented.
"Siyempre. Maganda 'yung nagsusuot, eh."
She snorted and rolled her eyes.
"Oh, well. Now... can I borrow one of your dresses?"
Sabi na nga ba.
"No! "Gosh," I rolled my eyes and grabbed a piece of tissue from inside one of my vanity drawers.
I fixed my long black high-low dress before going outside. Habang bumababa ako ng hagdan ay nagrereflect ang ilaw mula sa chandelier, which caused the glitters in my dress to shine.
I immediately saw the guests sitting in our living area. "Oh, wow. Is this Tatianna Avery?" Manghang sabi no'ng babae sa 'kin, she looked like she was in her 30s or 40s.
"Ah, yes. Genevieve, Emerson, meet my two daughters. Tatianna Avery and Ozlianna Dianne." Dad introduced us, we smiled and slightly bowed our heads as respect.
"You both look lovely!" she said and stood up para makipagbeso sa 'min. Ngumiti na lamang kami ni Dianne.
"You too, tita."
She cooked her specialty.
"Dad, are you okay?" I worriedly asked.
He nodded and gave me a smile. "Yes, don't worry, Tati."
"My eldest is the opposite of your daughter!" Tito Emerson slightly laughed. "Hold on, he should actually be here any minute now."
"If I'm not mistaken, you have two children, right?" Dad asked.
"You're right. Our youngest is at home right now, he's an introvert basically. He does not like going out that much." Sagot naman ni Tita Gen.
"What's his name-"
"Good evening. Apologies,"
My body froze when I heard a familiar voice.
