Mary-Anne
Wow i've been the one writing the last few chapters lol.
But today I'd like to discuss something very tragic-
The PARCC testing.
i don't like it, at all.
Am I saying that as a student?
Yes. yes I am.
I MISS THE MSA'S.
PARCC:
Pointless
Awful
Repulsive
Complete
Crap
1. There's more than one answer.
So if you forget to mark one of the answers, that whole question is wrong.
2. we have to explain, show our work, make equations, look at solutions, cure cancer.
3. it's so hard to understand.
Msa- Find the value of x.
Parcc- find the value of x, then graph it, tell us how you graphed it, make an equation, explain the equation, then mark the five answers that are also a part of it.
4. The fact that we don't get breath mints or stretches between sections.
5. It's on the computer. AKA, crashes, confusions, and other computer problems.
6. WE HAVE TO WRITE THREE ESSAYS. okay, so what? They're essays.
NOT WHEN THE QUESTION IS LIKE: the comparison between passage a and passage b is not a comparison unless spoken directly by person a. Describe the compare and contrast between person a and person c. then, tell us what major part person e plays in this compare and contrast.
7. You're being forced to stare at a computer for two hours straight.

Headaches
8. Nothing is presented to you. You have to look carefully at EVERY question and make sure that what you pick isn't a stupid answer. The questions are so long and lengthy.
Example: simplify -6(57+(-72)-2(8282-63+35) then do equation B. and explain how you got that.
9. The parcc testing has been stressing me out for weeks. I'm literally going over the practice test over and over again to see if i know it. I skip all the questions, and never come back to them.
10. you have limited time on each question. at the end of the test i would hold my head in fear and cry. Because it made me feel like crap, and i didnt even get to use a calculator. i hate it, i hate it.
So please, before you make an opinion about parcc, actually take the test. it'll either show the parcc is pointless, or im just stupid.
Talk soon before i die,
-Mary-Anne.
