Winchester? I know that name! Why would Lucifer take me here?

Castiel spun around, only to see that the fallen angel had vanished.

Did he go in the house?

Castiel cautiously walked up to the front door of the house, staring at its yellow front door.

He turned the nob, and the door opened without struggle.

The house inside was dark, the only sound coming from the heating vent by the fridge.

Pictures were hung on the wall, while other sloppy drawings hung on the fridge.

Castiel wandered around, gazing at pictures of the family that lived here. He recognized John and Mary Winchester, two retired hunters who decided to start a family. He remembered watching the two from Heaven.

Two small figures were bundled in their arms, one a couple years older than the tiny bundle Mary held.

Castiel examined the picture carefully, forgetting about the reason he came into the Winchester residence in the first place.

A light thud jerked him from his thoughts.

The angel's blue eyes widened in panic.

What is that?

Castiel slipped out his angel blade, holding it tightly in his hand.

A small head peered around the corner of the wall, staring at the frightened angel with big green eyes.

It stared right into Castiel's eyes, holding its gaze.

What do I do? Should I stab it?

The little human stepped out from its hiding spot, revealing it's full body.

Its soul was mostly all that Castiel could see, but thats all he needed to see.

It shone brighter than any soul he had ever seen, the light radiating around it.

The little human was a tad bit younger than Castiel's vessel.

Castiel put away his angel blade. This soul was a good one.

"Hi, I'm Dean Winchester. I must be dreaming! I wonder why Sammy isn't here too. Sammy is my brother. He is still a baby, but one day he will grow up to be the best brother ever! Besides me of course!" Dean rambled on.

"Wait, who are you again?" Dean asked.

Castiel barely understood the babbling boy, but assumed that because he seemed to only have been on this earth for about 4 years, that he didn't really know when to stop talking yet.

"My name is Cas-"

Dean screamed, covering his ears with his hands.

The angel stepped back, freaked out by the little human's sudden outburst.

"Are you-"

Dean screamed again, falling onto the floor with a light thud.

The windows behind the boy shattered, scaring Dean even more.

"Stop, Stop!" He cried, tears of fear streaming down his face.

Castiel shut his mouth, too confused and frightened to do anything.

"Dean? Honey?" A panicked voice called from upstairs.

A lady with blonde hair rushed down the steps, swooping up Dean in her arms.

She glanced around the room, her eyes roaming over the shattered glass until they landed on the little angel.

"Who are you?" She hissed, trying to calm down her son.

Castiel wrapped his wings around himself, scared out of his mind.

Was I the one who shattered the glass? Is she mad at me? She looks familiar... wait, is that Mary Winchester?

"I said who are you?" The woman said, a little louder this time. She had put Dean down and now held. A gun aimed at Castiel's head.

Where did she get that? Can that hurt me?

He could feel his vessel's heart beating hard, feeling like it would burst at any second.

"Castiel." The angel choked out, not quite sure what to do.

The woman, which Castiel realized was Mary, reacted the same as her son.

She stared at the angel, her hands glued to her head.

A flap of wings behind Castiel told him that another angel had joined them.

"Alright brother, now that you have gotten a good look at the humans, I think its time to go."

Lucifer appeared behind him, putting his hands on Castiel's shoulders.

"W-wait! Why can they not understand me?" Castiel shook away, glancing back at the Winchesters before looking his brother in the eye." Why did you even take me here? Where is Gabriel?"

"So you actually want to communicate with you?" Lucifer glared at the cowering humans.

Castiel nodded slowly, his eyes wandering back to Dean. The little boy was wrapped up tight by Mary's arms.

Lucifer sighed and, before Castiel could do anything, he grabbed the angel's shoulders and flew off, leaving the Winchesters to wonder what in the world just happened.
