Gabriel had landed back in Heaven, still not releasing his squirming brother from his wings. "What happened?" Gabriel questioned, his voice rough. His hazel eyes stared directly into Cas's azure ones. Cas looked away, not even knowing how to feel. "After Lucifer banished you, he took me to the Winchester residence. I met one of the children there. I think it was Dean Winchester." Castiel smiled at the name, not noticing Gabriel's slightly panicked expression.
"Then, I tried to communicate with him and a young woman who I presume is his mother. Every time I spoke, windows blew out, mirrors shattered, and both humans cried out in pain and covered their ears." Castiel explained sadly, looking down at his shoes.
"Cas you know that you can't use your real voice right?" Gabriel asked.
"But Jimmy understood me! Why didn't Dean?"
"Cassie, your vessel only understood you because he was a vessel,you have to use the voice your vessel has to talk to people." Gabriel said, rolling his eyes at his clueless brother.
"Like this?" Cas asked, using Jimmy's voice. Even though Jimmy seemed like he was only 5, Castiel made his voice seem extremely deep.
Gabriel nodded, to stunned at Castiel's deep voice to say anything else. "So...anyways, then how did you end up in that field?" He asked after a moment of silence.
"Lucifer took me after the incident with the Winchesters, and I tried to capture him. When you came, he must have flown off." Castiel left out Lucifer's words about loosing the Winchesters.
"So you blew out windows huh?" Gabriel chuckled.
Castiel glared at him. "That isn't the point Gabriel, he never told me why he took me in the first place, and thanks to your stupid wings, I have no idea where he went!" Cas finally broke free of Gabriel, brushing his trench coat off.
Gabriel snapped his fingers, and a chocolate bar appeared in his hand, earning an eye roll from his brother.
"Alright calm down there Cassie, no need to get your trench coat in a twist!" Gabriel laughed again, taking a big bite of the chocolate bar.
"I need to go find Lucifer, he could hurt someone!" Cas turned around, annoyed by his brother.
Gabriel put a hand on Cas's shoulder turning him to face Gabe again. "Alright, look. While you might want to fly down to Earth again and play hero, you can't. You have no idea what Lucifer wants, and I don't want you getting hurt."
"Gabriel, I'll be fine." Cas tried to turn around again, but was stopped by Gabe's hand.
"Castiel no. I need you to trust me on this one. You trust me right?"
Cas nodded.
"Then you have to promise not to go back down to Earth , and you especially have to promise you won't go looking for Lucifer. Oh! And looking at those WInchesters is out of the question too."
"But-"
"No Cas, you need to promise me this."
The angel looked over his shoulder, where his favorite watching cloud, his favorite watching spot sat. He sighed, looking back at Gabriel. "I promise."
Gabriel smiled, ruffling Castiel's hair. "Thats a good boy! Now who wants to come with their favorite brother to the garrison!"
Castiel raised his hand sadly.
"Please contain your excitement." Gabriel said sarcastically.
~~~
The angels flew through the beautiful clouds of Heaven, Gabriel occasionally flapping his wings so hard that he created a gust of wind that would knock Castiel back.
