Lucifer let out an annoyed sigh and rolled his eyes.

"Really Castiel, that's the best you can come up with?"

Castiel was confused by his brother's reaction. Shouldn't he be nervous? He has an angel blade on his neck! Maybe he thinks that I am not much of a threat...

"Shut up." Castiel growled as he pushed the angel blade closer to Lucifer's neck. Blood dripped from his vessel.

"So what's the plan? You keep me held hostage-" Lucifer used air quotes when he said hostage-" wait for Gabriel to show up and poof me down into the fiery pits of Hell and then get on with your daily watching of your favorite pets?"

"Listen Lucifer. I don't know how much you actually know, but I need to know why you brought me to the Winchester's."

"Look, we both know how much you love humans, especially those Winchesters." Lucifer's face wrinkled up at the last word.

"So?" Cas questioned.

Lucifer smirked, staring the angel dead in the eyes.

"It would be terrible if you lost them."

Cas squinted his eyes at his fallen brother, confused by everything that had just happened.

Before the little angel could question Lucifer again, a gust of wind shook them, knocking Castiel to the ground.

"Castiel!" Cas recognized Gabriel's voice. The older angel ran up to his brother, fear in his champagne colored eyes."Castiel, oh my dad are you ok?" Gabriel helped his brother up, pulling him into a hug.

Cas pushed away, picking up the angel blade he had dropped when he fell.

"Lucifer! I got him!" Castiel answered the questioning (and slightly hurt) look Gabe was giving him. The two angels looked around the field, which was empty besides them.

"Where did he go?" Cas frantically looked around for Lucifer, but he was gone.

WIthout a word, Gabriel spread out his long, golden wings, two of them wrapping around Castiel. The other two carried the angels high into the sky.

Castiel squirmed around in Gabriel's strong wings, trying to break free.

"You're letting Lucifer get away!" Cas looked down at the quickly vanishing ground, still wanting answers.

"Cassie, even though it would be hilarious to just let you try to flap your wings fast enough to fly, I don't think this is the time."

Castiel kept his mouth shut, despite wanting to tell Gabriel how good he could actually fly. He knew something was very wrong, and even Gabriel couldn't stop what had started.

Ya, very short chapter, but its going to get good. Don't you worry.
