I bite my lower lips hard as my legs shaking under me. I rub my face in anxiety. I swear to god, I can feel my legs run cold.

I pray silently in my heart. I keep praying and praying like my life depending on it. I need both of them safe. Y/N don't deserve this. She doesn't even know.

Just please be okay.

An hour ago

I was cleaning the counter after I made lunch for us. She left work early today since she finished her paper works. It's been two days since I proposed to her and she still not aware. But I was also afraid.

Oh wow-

A sudden thumps making me flinch. It was loud. I frown in confusion. But something was not right. I walk to the living room and check whats the thing making sounds. I sniff something in the air. My heart jumps and my eyes widen.

Blood.

I quickly run to the scent and found her lifeless figure in front of the staircase. The smell of the blood piercing through my sensitive nose.

"Fuck... no!" I quickly lift her a bit. "Y/N?" I pat her cheek trying to wake her up. I saw a small pool of blood under her. I almost cry when I know what it means.

Shit-

Her scent changes. My heart drops to my stomach. I don't even realize the tears roll on my cheeks. "No, no, no. Please... No..."

I have don't want to believe this-

I place her gently on the floor and run to get my phone. I quickly call for the ambulance. They answered after a few rings.

"Hello?! Someone is injured here!"

Present

I sigh as my heart beating so fast. I literally saw the blood run down through her thighs and I never scare for my whole life.

I don't fucking know how can fell through the stairs. I shut my eyes trying to get rid of the image of her bloody and lifeless figure out of my head.

"Mr. Jeon?"

I look up and find the male doctor approach me. I quickly stand up, "how's my fiance, doctor?" He looks at me with that sad look.

No.

I gulp, "I'm sorry, Mr. Jeon. We couldn't save the baby." I shut my eyes tightly. I cursed under my breath.

No, please tell me this isn't real-

"But she's gonna be okay, right?" I look at the doctor. "Yeah, she will recover after few hours of rest." He nods.

I bow to the doctor. "Thank you, doctor." The doctor patted my back and walk away.

I walk into the room and quietly close the door behind me. Her chest going up and down as she's in her dreamland.

She still looks beautiful even though she look pale-

The groan echoes the room making me jolt in my place. Her eyes slowly open and look around.  I quickly lean closer to her, "H-Hey, baby."

Damn, We haven't married yet I'm already a bad husband-

"Jeongguk?" Her voice sounds like a lullaby. I love it so much. "Why are you crying?" I feel numb. My heart broke so much seeing her don't know that she lost a piece of ours.
