JEONGGUK POV

I was crying my eyes out. I'm sorry.

"Guk. Please talk to me." I shake my head. How can I face you?

I look up with my swollen face. She looks at me concerning about me. I take a deep breath. "Y/N, I-I have to tell you something."

"Guk, How's the baby?" I look at her with my eyes widen. She knew about the baby. Yet She looks at my face expecting an answer from me. Yet She looks at me with hope in her eyes. My heart shatters. I can't hold back my tears and I let them out again. I put my hand on her stomach.

"They couldn't save it." I choke by my own tears. She doesn't deserve this. I can feel her putting her hand on mine which is on her stomach. I look at her expecting her to yell at me either be upset with me.

She shut her eyes as the tears escape from her eyes. "I'm sorry, Guk." She apologizes. I shake my head denying it. "No, this is my fault." She grips my hand tighter. "No, Guk. It was my fault. I should've been careful." She put another hand on the side of her face.

"I killed our baby."

No, no, no...

"Y/N..." I grab her hand and kiss the back of her palm. We both been crying nonstop and being each other's comfort.

It's been a few hours, she had been quiet. She always looks down and plays with her fingers. I stare at her in silence. Her pale face fade for a bit. There's a bit of color on her face like the blood rush back. But her eyes are empty. It's dull and blank.

I grab her hand and intertwine our fingers. She looks at me as Our gaze meets.

"Are you hungry? You need to eat." She shakes her head gently as a No. I stand up and push her head to my chest. I wrap my arms around her.

"You need to eat, you might get sick again." I kiss her head and she snuggles against my chest.

"I feel empty." I nod and said, "I know baby. I know."

I push her gently and look into her eyes. "How did you found out?" She gave a small smile, "I took pregnancy tests yesterday and yeah it's all positive."

"I was happy." She stares back into my eyes. "I thought we could have our own little family." Her lips tremble as she holds our gaze. "I guess, it's not now." She still gives the small smile.

The guilt eating me alive from inside.

It's been weeks and obviously, she didn't take the thing easy. Jin decided to come and help her with the company works as I requested. I really need her to rest.

I know she's physically and emotionally tired. So I took care of her more often after the incident. She's getting better but still sensitive.

It was rough at first but I get used to it. After the day she was discharged, we went back and she still didn't want to eat, she doesn't want to do anything. She just standing on the balcony of our bedroom and stares outside.

It's nothing I can do since she really needs time to pick herself together.

But thankfully, she's getting better. She smiles a lot these days. She ate a lot and went out too. I won't stop her from going anywhere cause she had been locking herself in this big mansion.

Today she said she wants to take me somewhere. I was shocked but agree to it.

"Are you ready?" She smiles as she put on the seatbelt. I nod and smile, "yeah." She chuckles before drive away to the place. I enjoy the wind blow right through my face. It's kinda nice. It's like fresh air since I busy taking care of Y/N. I postponed our marriage since Y/N really needs time to recover. But the date kinda near.

Is it just me getting excited?

Is it wrong to get excited at the wrong time?

I don't know if I can get excited cause we just lost our kit.

My ears pick up the sounds of giggling and high pitch yelps. I look around as the place getting unfamiliar. Y/N already get off so I did. I was confused as she walks around to me.

She smiles and extends her hand for me to grab. I grab and intertwine our fingers.

"B-bunny!!!"

A kid-no a baby hybrid stop in front of me looking at me in awe. He's a kitty. He looking at me like he sees a bunny hybrid. He extends his arms in the air like he wants me to carry him.

I look for Y/N and she's already giggling with another baby vixen in front of me.

"B-Bunny, d-don like meh-"

I almost forgot about the kitten in front of me. I quickly lift him by under his armpits. He went from extremely sad to happy like 1 to 100 real quick. His little eyes staring at me in awe.

I realize that we at the hybrid orphanage.

"B-Big b-bunny... C-cute big b-bunny..." He didn't stop gawking at me. Like I was his favorite superhero.

"You like him?" I look at the owner of the voice. It's Y/N. I know what she wants right now.

"You want them?" She looks unsure if she should tell me. But she nods. "Yeah, I want..." She put two fingers of me.

Why she's being adorable-

I chuckle. She gives the puppy eyes and says, "can we?" My cheeks hurt from smiling too much. There's nothing wrong to adopt them. So why not?

"Sure. Let's adopt them."
