Aduke, Cattaleya's cousin is getting married and she has to be there a day before to help prepare them. She couldn't find some of her office papers cause she would also be working on some things there.
"Kemi, Have you seen that Brown envelope I kept on the dinning yesterday?" She shouted from her room
"Which Brown envelope?" Leya answered from downstairs.
"I'm talking to you na, look for it. I'm already late." A furious woman was already standing close to the chair Leya was sitting on
"ok" Leya said dragging herself off the chair to look for it.
"I've found it oh." Leya's mum said as she ascended the stairs.Few minutes later she descended the stairs again with her travelling bag and her hand bag in her right hand. Leya rushed to help her mum with the travelling bag.
"The Bolt driver will soon be here, I'll be back on Monday."
"Mummy, can I stay with Zara while your gone?"
"But you never had a problem with staying at home while I went on business trips"
"That's because Aunty Steph was just living in the next street, please na" Leya said and gave her mum a pleasing eyes which the mum yielded to.
"Alright, you can go there. Make sure you lock the doors before you go. I'll come and pick you when I come back."
The Bolt driver horned at the gate and she carried her bag and left*******
"Zara in the building." Zara shouted as she entered the house.
"You just had to not have brain." Leya said picking up her small bag containing her cloth and other thing she needed for her stay in Zara's house. She stepped out locked the doors and the gate
"We have to stop at cold stone. I'm seriously craving for ice cream." Zara said entering the car she came with.
"Me too."They stopped at Cold stone and bought a bucket of Vanilla ice cream before proceeding to Zara's house. When the hot there the security man guarding the gate opened and the driver drove in. Immediately they entered the house the were welcomed by......
"Gooooaaaallllll."
"You invited guys to your house" Leya said whispering.
"Nope. ohh I forgot to tell you my brothers are back from school."
"Ohh" Leya said understanding the reason for the shout.Zara catwalked into the sitting room with Leya tagging behind and did the unexpected. She unplugged the TV which her brothers were using to play PES and ran away.
"Chukwuneku Chizaram Mary!!! I'll kill you" Jidenna, Zara's immediate elder brother shouted and ran after her while Amobi just sat there laughing.Zara has two elder brothers that are really cute. Jidenna is 2 years older than her while Amobi is 3 years older than her. They love her and cherish her as their little baby sister.
Leya greeted Amobi with a smile and walked past him to go to Zara's room. When she got there she collapsed on the bed. Few seconds later a laughing Zara ran into the room and locked the door.
"Seriously girl that was one harsh thing to do." Leya said sitting up
"Next time that would give me a proper welcome." Zara said still laughing while Leya face palmed herself."Zara it's time for dinner. Mummy is calling you." Jidenna said from the other side of the door.
"See Jidenna if that's your way to pay me back for offing the TV, I'm sorry na."
"Don't worry about that when I want to deal with you, trust me I will. Mummy is calling you."Zara picked up a pillow and threw it at Leya that was already choking from laughter.
"Biko, what kind of bestie are you?" Zara asked while getting off the bed.
"Best of the best sweetheart." Leya winked at her and went out while Zara groaned thinking of the possible punishment her brother could give her."Hey Leya, how are you doing?" Mrs Chukwuneku, Zara's mum asked as she saw Leya.
"I'm very fine ma." Leya said bending a bit.
"And your mum?"
"She's fine too."
"And where is that girl. Chizaram!!"
"Yes Mum. I'm coming." Zara said running down the stairs. They prayed and started eating. While eating they talked about a lot of things which made Leya to feel relaxed.
