**11 years later**
Am always lazy when it comes to waking up to go to school.....am never enthusiastic about waking up to go to school but I don't have a choice.I picked up my phone from my side table and checked the time shit! it's 7am and I need to be in school before 7:40 am.
I ran into the bathroom as if I was pursued by a ghost or something.I got dressed for school. Now am in my uniform, a white long-sleeved shirt and my black short highwaist skirt, staring at myself in the mirror. Damn am one hottie.
I picked up my schoolbag, my phone, and of course my ear phones am a lover of music. I slid down the staircase rail.childish right, I still do it anyways. When I got downstairs I heard the noise of pots and pans, I know it my mum.
"mummy Good morning"I said kneeling a little, if you don't kneel down to greet her she would start shouting like the Yoruba woman she is
"Good morning my darling, how was your night"
"fine ma"I said while leaving the house
"won't you take your breakfast"I heard her say but I was already to far to answer her.I hailed a bus and entered. My name is Cattaleya Adebayo.Weird right! . My parent separated when I was 5 ,so I live with my single mum here in Lagos state. Yea, Lagos is known to be the must bubbling city in Nigeria and it's quite fun to live there.
I am a half-caste. My dad is an American. When my parent separated they agreed to share the responsibility. I think. So my mum took me while my dad took my elder brother. I miss him so much and I will go and find him after my secondary school at least mum won't stop me. The bus reached my school bus stop, I got out and paid the conductor.Great to be back to this boring school.
