a week later...

the gender reveal.

all the friend and family were at our house outside as  we made our way over to people. talking to them then catching up with other people too. uncle jaden and anthony were there and so was sam. addy and her family. charli and her family plus tons more. most of arianas family was there too.

will was currently the only one that knew the gender.. and layla would not stop asking him. "will tell meeeeee" layla whined as will just looked at her. "nope you'll find out soon enough" he said as layla sighed walking away. will started gathering people around as he handed us both holi power. ariana looked at me smiling as everyone had been discussing what they thought the gender was.

we twisted the handle looking up at the vibrant cloud of dust. ariana looked at me and i looked down at her. instantly she ran over to me hugging me so tightly.

"omg" she said into my chest crying as i felt tears slipping down my cheeks too.

"it's a girl" she said crying harder into me chest. everyone else was cheering and crying and it was a mess. i pulled away as i kissed her as she kissed me back passionately. once we had calmed down from the moment layla screamed hugging ariana. "omg we can play dress up with her all the time" layla said as ariana smiled. "omg we can" ariana said as layla and ariana kept squealing over playing dress up. baba came over to me with piper as piper hugged me.

"shes gonna be so pretty" piper said. "she will be" i said as baba smiled. "so did you get what you wanted" he said looking at me. "i did actually" i said as he smiled. "omg you wanted a girl" piper said shocked. "i think we all thought he'd want a boy" nan said walking over. "you thought wrong but either way i was gonna be happy" i said as they smiled. i walked around people as i felt a tap on my shoulder.

i turned around to see arianas dads mum. she was so old yet so healthy. i was surprised seen as she was like 90 and still going to the gym and doing things 90 year olds shouldn't be able to do. "hello" i said giving her a hug. "hello" she said pulling away smiling up at me. "it's been a while" she said as i smiled. "it has" i said. "my son would have been very proud of you" she said. "aw thank you, i've heard a lot about him. i wish i had got to meet him" i said as she smiled.

"you have hes here with us, smiling over our shoulders and in our hearts" she said as i smiled wider. "i can imagine he is" i said as we had a long conversation about a lot of things. after talking with judy i walked over to people i hadn't seen in years or haven't seen since i was little. even luna was there. she's way older than me but we grew up together. apparently she met baba when she was 6 with her mum at a restaurant and they have all kept in contact since.

ariana got to meet a lot more people that were family friends and i did too from her side as well. it was a great afternoon. after everyone left we had cleaned up.

8 weeks later..

we were laying in bed currently. "i'm still so happy that we are having a girl" she said. "i am too" i said as she smiled and i kissed her gently. "she's gonna be a daddy's girl" i said pulling away as ariana looked at me. the smirk plastered on my lips.

"i would fight with that but i know it's gonna be true" she said chuckling. "daddy's little girl" i said close to her stomach as i kissed it. pulling me face away as she kicked the instant i pull away. it was small but i saw it. "can you hear me or was that perfect timing" i said as ariana chuckled. "she can probably hear us" ariana said. "it's around the time that they start hearing and sometimes they react to things" she said.

"i love you" i said to her stomach as i kissed her stomach again. the kick being a few small kicks. "kiss my stomach again without saying anything" she said as i kissed her stomach to the small movement again. "aww" ariana said. i watched her stomach seeing no movement. "do you like daddy kissing mummy's stomach" i said laughing quietly seeing her move in arianas stomach. "that wasn't a kick" ariana said as she chuckled. i laid back next to ariana as she looked at me smiling.

"i love you so much" she said as i smiled looking at her. "i love you too" i said as we kissed. "i still hate that you've stolen my side" i said as she chuckled. "it's better to sleep on my left and your the one that likes to spoon me" she said smiling. "yes because then your in my embrace and safe" i said as she chuckled. "doesn't help when i need to go to the toilet" she said.

"i tell you to wake me up" i said as she smiled getting up. "no" she said putting her hand on her stomach. walking into the bathroom definitely going to the toilet. as she walked back over to the bed my phone started ringing as ariana gasped putting a hand on her stomach. the loud noise must have sacred the little one because that was a hell of a kick. i grabbed my phone answering it.

"yes noah" i said as he took a deep breathe. "i'm doing it" he said as i sat there confused. "doing what" i said. "asking layla to marry me" he said as i smiled. "holy shit wait when. right now" i said. "yea in like 10 minutes when she gets out the bathroom and we walk down to a small flower field" he said. "it's like 11pm at night noah. in a flower field" i said.
"yea it's lit up" he said. "omg text me how it goes i'm wishing you luck" i said as he sighed. "thanks i'll text you later" he said.

i put my phone down after hanging up as ariana looked at me. "what was that about" she said. "noah's about to propose to layla" i said as ariana looked at me wide eyed. "your joking" she said. "no your lying" she said covering her mouth. "no way omg" she said excitedly. "omg i hope she says fucking yes" ariana said. "i reckon she will" i said as ariana smiled. "omg this is so exciting" she said.
