"Luella come down baby!" mummy yelled from the kitchen.
I quickly ran downstairs to the kitchen and saw mummy smiling at me "What?" I said confused pouting
Mummy took out a bowl and a cake mix from the cupboard "Shall we?" she asked smiling brightly. I squealed and ran up to her hugging her legs "I love you so much mummy" I whispered
She ruffled my hair "Love you too my angel" then picked me up, set me on the counter right beside her and handed me my small apron
I tried tying it but really struggled.
"Turn around let me help you," mummy said as I turned around and she pushed my blonde hair away from my back
"There we go," she said kissing my cheek as she put her own apron on "Quickly wash your hands," she said pointing to the sink as she got out eggs and oil and some other stuff
I washed my hands well with soap and dried them with a tea towel "Done!"
Mummy placed the bowl down and poured the box of cake mix into it and the faced me with the eggs in her hand "Do you want to?" she asked me
I nodded and grabbed one egg and tried cracking it but failed.
Mummy laughed at me.
She grabbed the egg and did a small knock on the counter which made a small crack to the egg and handed it over to me so I can pour it into the bowl but again I failed
An eggshell fell in.
"Oops, sorry mummy" I apologised with my head down. Mum lifted my chin and kissed my forehead "It's fine angel" she said as she got out a spoon and took out the eggshell
Mummy continued adding the other ingredients rather than me doing it
She placed the tin of batter into the oven and shut it then looked at me "Run" she said putting me down
I ran as fast as my legs could take me but mummy grabbed me from behind and blew raspberries into my neck
"Mummy!" I shouted in between laughs trying to get away from her "I love you my angel" she muttered giving me a big kiss on my head
I woke up the next morning; well it was very dark outside
