As Luella and Ada settled into Luella's bed for a sleepover, they found themselves squirming uncomfortably as their toes accidentally brushed against each other.
"Hey, your toes are touching mine!" Ada exclaimed with a giggle, her voice filled with playful irritation. Luella wrinkled her nose in mock annoyance, her lips curling into a mischievous grin. "Well, your toes are just too big Ada!" she retorted, unable to contain her laughter.
Luella pulled Ada's toe "Move them away from me. They smell like Alejo's poo"
Adriel cautiously pushed open the door to his little sister Luella's room, expecting to find her immersed in dreams, instead he found her with her golden locks tousled from sleep, sat upright in bed, her eyes sparkling with mischief as she chatted animatedly with Ada about toes "You know you both can sleep in my bed or sleep downstairs on the couch"
Luella looked at her brother then glanced at Ada "Can we sleep in your bed?" she pouted
Adriel smiled "Sure, I'll sleep in here tonight"
The girls both giggled and Adriel gently ushered Luella and Ada into his room, their small hands clutching their favorite stuffed animals tightly. With tender care, he tucked them snugly into his bed, the soft blankets cocooning them in warmth.
Adriel kisses both of their foreheads and turned on the bedside lamps before heading out of the room
He walked inside and saw Xavier watching some kids show "I swear you've been watching that the whole day" he spoke up causing Xavier to look at him
"Shut up" Xavier retorted switching off the tv and throwing his head back "Are they asleep?"
Adriel shook his head "I just put them in"
"Rose is staying tonight," Xavier stated
Adriel looked up from his phone at his brother "You both better be quiet, I will throw you both out the house if the girls wake up" he warned
"Sorry dad" Xavier uttered
Adriel glared at him "Shut the fuck up"
Xavier clicked his tongue "Got it" he walked over to the door and opened it for his girlfriend "Hi" he pecked her lips
Rose smiled "Hey" she hung up her jacket and looked over Xavier's shoulder to see Adriel
"Hey" She spoke up
Adriel looked at her and smiled "Hey Rose"
