"Look that's the movie!" Adalia pointed out
Luella and Ada stood hand in hand, their eyes wide with wonder, as they waited eagerly in line at the cinema. Beside them stood Xavier, a protective arm draped around his girlfriend Rose.
"That pony is super pretty" Luella commented smiling. Her little dimples popping out
"What do you guys want?" Xavier kneeled down and asked the girls
"Sweet popcorn" Ada and Ella replied who then went back to talking
Xavier exchanged a knowing smile with Rose as they watched the girls, their youthful enthusiasm infectious. "I can't wait to see their faces when the movie starts," Rose whispered, her voice tinged with fondness, as they patiently waited their turn for popcorn
Xavier smiled and walked to the till with Rose following behind holding the girls' hands
"Can you get me a slush?" she asked
Xavier smiled before placing a kiss on her collar bone "Sure"
"Rose, which pony do you like?" Luella tugged on her hand
"That blue one is pretty" Rose replied to her honestly
Rose couldn't wait to have children of her own someday. She was only 19 but already wanted one with the love of her life
She couldn't wait to start her own family.
If only she could
If only that was possible
Her dreams got wrecked
"Alright, here's yours" Xavier came up with 2 bags of popcorn, handing one over to Luella and another to Adalia
"Thank you" the girls both smiled
Rose grabbed her slushy and already started drinking it. Xavier leaned in with a mischievous grin, his eyes gleaming with mischief, as he reached for his girlfriend Rose's ice slush
Rose raised her brow before bringing the straw up to Xavier's mouth
"Thank you baby" Xavier smirked
With wide eyes full of excitement, Ada and Luella skipped along the dimly lit hallway of the cinema, their small hands clasped tightly in those of Luella's brother and Rose. The bustling sounds of the lobby faded into the background as they made their way towards the movie screen, their steps quickening with anticipation.
