"What?"

"You had no pulse. You stopped breathing. We came here this morning and found you like that. The nurse said you have been dead for four hours." Ryan replied, his voice was shaky.

I swallowed a hard lump in my throat. What was that vial filled with?

I pointed to the untouched paper bag that still sat on the side table.

"There was a syringe in there. I injected the liquid into my arm."

Ryan picked up the bag and read the words.

"Was it a cure?"

"I don't know. I died and came back to life so I assume it has something to do with a cure."

"How do you feel?" My mom asked me.

"I don't feel anymore pain. I can talk again."

Whitney had rushed out of the room and brought Micheal back in. He looked shocked.

"Oh thank God you're not dead." He said. Why was he happy I was alive?

They all asked me questions about my supposed resurrection. I was starting to get really tired again.

"Guys, chill out, ok? She needs rest." Ryan said as he held my hand.

Everyone started clearing out of the room. Before Jane left, she came over to me.

"Thank you." She said before walking out.

Ryan kissed me on the forehead and stood up.

"Don't leave." I said.

He sat back down.

He took my hand in his.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too."

That was all the satisfaction I needed before I fell asleep.

"So the Virus is gone? I'm completely healed?"

"Your body might need some time to warm up, but yes, the Virus is gone."

I leaned up and squeezed the nurse tightly. This was the same one who was waiting for me to die, but I didn't care.

"Go home to your son." I whispered.

She pulled away and smiled. "I will."

Ryan smiled and kissed me on the cheek, still clutching my hand.

"You get some rest, ok?" He smiled at me.

"Will you stay with me?"

"Of course I will."

"There is a baby in there?" I asked as I poked my mom's enlarged stomach.

She nodded and smiled. My father rubbing her shoulders tenderly.

"Can it breath?" I ask again.

They both laughed. "Yeah, honey."

This was all too confusing for me. "How does it eat?"

"When mommy eats, the baby eats." Dad answered.

"Is that why it keeps getting bigger?" I asked again.

My mom nodded and smiled.

"Is it going to stay in there?" I asked.

"No, when it wants to come out, it will tell mommy and we are going to go to the hospital to take it out."
