"Toss me the blue!" Jane yelled from across the plane.
I picked up the blue spray paint and tossed it to her. I took my own red can and sprayed the tip of the tail. Ryan sprayed orange below my strip of red. Jane was spraying a quote on the side of the plane. Next, we sprayed green, then blue, then purple.
"I'm pretty sure our plane is the most colorful." Ryan laughed. He was right. Ours had splashes of color everywhere. It looked like a five year old's craft. You could probably see it from space. We finished the final touches and Ryan slid down the side of the plane. I followed after him and he caught me as I landed not so gracefully.
"Do you know this is earth because I think you just fell from heaven." He said dreamily.
"I'm pretty sure it's hell but whatever you say." I laughed as he kissed me on the cheek and lowered me onto the ground. We walked around to the side of the plane where Jane waited for us.
"Whaddya think?" On the side of the plane in bright blue spray paint, were the words "Feel the fear and do it anyways."
"Jane, it's beautiful." I said. Ryan kissed me on the top of my head and slung his arm around my shoulder.
He pulled the sticky note out of his pocket. "Ok so now we either trash Michael's office or-"
"I don't care what the other option is." I bolted towards the building. The hot wind whipped at my hair and my legs burned from the speed I was running. All of the sudden, I was lifted off of the ground and being slung over Ryan's shoulder. I shrieked/laughed in approval. We finally approached the building and he lowered me to the ground. The moment my feet hit the ground I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. He kissed me all over my cheeks and on my neck, down to my collar bone and back up to my lips.
"You are crazy." He chuckled.
"I know." I laughed back as I pressed a hard kiss on his lips.
"Come on! We have an office to trash!" Jane said.
We pulled away and followed Jane up the stairs, taking two steps at a time. We ran over the terminal bridge towards his office. People stared at us as we screamed while running down the halls.
We cracked the back door to his office open and saw it was empty. We ran inside and knocked over a few of his shelves and threw books everywhere. It was kind of random but it felt good. Just pretending nothing happened. Just be crazy. I scribbled all over his white board and chucked the marker across the room. We made sure to keep all of the filing cabinets in tact, we were feeling generous.
"What's next?" I asked as I knocked over his cheesy office chair.
Ryan uncrumpled the sticky note. "Eat until our teeth fall out."
I laughed and bolted out the door. Adrenaline coursed through my veins. I had never felt so alive before. It's like nothing mattered. It was just me and Ry, and Jane, and nobody could stop us.
We made it to the food court and I was out of breath. I could usually run a lot longer without getting winded, I guess I hadn't been getting much exercise lately. We snuck into one of the food storage rooms and ate boxes of cereal and chips and candy and sweets. I hope nobody knew it was us. By the time we were finished, I felt like I was going to throw up.
"What's next?" I asked, out of breath.
"We get drunk."
I laughed and Ryan brought out a bottle of whiskey. He plopped down next to me, Jane on my other side. I was offered the first drink and took it gladly. I swallowed one small sip, but and that threw my stomach off. I threw up in a bucket of empty icecream. Ryan laughed, taking a swig of whiskey, then throwing up with me.
