Author's Woes

"Mori avoids being part of original plot and live quietly as a commoner. Despite being a commoner, Mori is a successful baker. The kids in the orphanage looked up to him and wanted to be independent just like him. He lives happily ever after-"

*SHRAAAK!* RIP papers

Author: Aaaaaaa! What is this shitty idea?! Boring as hell! Rejected! Rejected! Rejected!!! I need something more dynamic! Something that'll make readers go KABOOM!

Author's little brother: More action?

Author: I got that covered already. What I need is character development!

Author's little sister: *Whispers something with evil laugh*

Author: *Joins her evil laugh*

Author's little brother: Oh god...

*Author writes this chapter in one day after days of inspiration searching*

Author: Wait, this is not the KABOOM I was looking for.

Author's little sister: Then what is it?

Author: There is still plot hole. And that plot hole is the supposed KABOOM.

Author's little brother: You have online class tomorrow.

Author: Fine, I'll fill the plot hole next time. I'll just use this one since I haven't updated for... nearly two weeks? Sorry for the long wait dear readers! >w<

*Also author screaming in the background because ran out of ideas for the title*

...

The freezing cold wind that brushes his skin made his skin a bit red but it's no big deal. He has dealt with harsh winters all by himself back then when he decided to live his life as a commoner. He view the garden from above. Mori couldn't deny, the garden is indeed beautiful however he sees no value to it. "So you want to reward me?" Mori said without making eye contact with Albert. "Truth to be told, it's not something you can give me." Mori sighs.

'Huh?!' Albert originally thought Mori is aiming for something. 'To think he still kept it secret even after I offer him a chance... Did he really change? That's right... I can't give up just yet. I need to ask that question.' Albert fake coughs. "What do you like?"

"...Huh?" Mori was dumbfounded by that question. "What I like..." He taps the window pane. "Has nothing to do with you." Mori turns around, making eye contact and points finger gun to Albert. "Aizen."

Despite his smile, Albert has this irk mark on his forehead. "Haha... You still can crack jokes at times like this? I'm a bit hurt you know."

"Oh I'm dead serious. What I like really has nothing to do with you." Mori still has his half closed eyes, still tired from running around last night.

"Can you at least be more specific?" Albert is annoyed by his aloof and secretive blood relative.

Mori stares blankly. 'I like anime, manga, nendoroids, posters, cosplay, games, etc- There's no way I can tell him that!' Mori took a few seconds to think of an answer. "I like what I cook." A very generic answer. Not gonna lie, to his taste buds, everything except his cooking tastes plain or lacking. Once a modern people who gets used to additive flavours get thrown into the less civilized past, some might even thought they had lost their sense of taste.

From Mori's answer, Albert now convinced it IS something he can't give on his own accord. 'This is getting nowhere. I'll think of something instead.' Albert literary gave up in the end.
