[BAHAHAHA! AFTER SIX DAMN MONTHS I FINALLY UPDATED! Yae Miko is right. Writer's block is truly a menace. If I keep following the same arc as the story, that wouldn't be fun at all. So I'm alive but dead inside. After months of the cloudy head, from September to February, I finally realize if I want everything to be perfect then I would never move forward from the current chapter. Fuck plot! Fuck perfectionism! Start writing damn it!]
Mori remembers he clearly stated to see Bennett on weekends. So why on earth does this guy keep appearing in front of his store every morning?
"Mexican Coffee Buns, please!~" However, the said person has no intention to listen to him.
'That's not even on the menu!' Mori's fake smile twitched. Every time Bennett comes, he will glance at the menu and order something that's not in it.
"I sincerely apologize. I cannot prepare your order-"
*Bam!*
Bennett slammed a small glass container of brewed coffee beans onto the counter.
"..."
If Mori said he doesn't have the ingredient, Bennett will give the ingredient he prepared on the spot. If Mori said he doesn't have the tool, Bennett will give him. When Mori said he don't want one, Bennett just smiled. Mori can't pinpoint whether the stuff Bennett brings him came from his wealth or an underground laboratory.
Mori was slightly dizzy remembering the events from the past few days. He regains his composure as he continues. "This... Are you displeased with what I've served?" Mori gestured to the other bread displayed under the shiny glass counter. 'You see these? These are the bread that I made too. Why are you so picky, Mitsuo-nii? Are you trying to make my life harder than it is?' Mori keeps his unwavering smile even if he's annoyed. Unfortunately for him, those words earlier had different side effects on Bennett.
Amused, Bennett raises his hand and pinched the other's cheek while innocently smiling. "I honestly prefer bread that you made only for me~" If anyone else hears his non-filtered words then they would surely misunderstand.
For example,
Simple-headed people like Watson who is currently helping Mori wash the dishes when he heard this conversation. "..." Watson.exe reloading.
"..." Mori's face froze for a few seconds. "...Haha, is that so? Then I will remember to never list your order on the menu." Mori replies. 'If I did not say this, one day he might as well ask me to prepare Foie Gras.' Mori sweatdrops at the thought. There's a high possibility that it will happen. "Please wait a moment." With a sigh, he takes the coffee halfheartedly and went back to the kitchen. He sees Watson somewhat in a daze. The sink tap water kept flowing but Watson's hands are frozen in place. Seeing his odd behavior, Mori tapped his shoulder a bit, bringing Watson back to reality. "Is there a problem?"
"Ah, no. There isn't!" Watson replied the most natural way he could.
"If so then why are you daydreaming while washing dishes? Is the drug still affecting you?" Mori asks him.
Not long ago, Sherlock got curious about the lavender sachet Mori brought back. He mindlessly opened it and the strong scent filled the room, making both him and Watson faint. The conscious but sleepy Mori took away the sachet from them and went to sleep, leaving them on the cold floor as payback for breaking into his house twice. Knowing that Mori has a high level of drug resistance, Bennett specially made the scented powder extra potent that even a horse couldn't stay awake after inhaling it. It took them more than 16 hours to gain their senses. Sherlock woke up first, leaving the still unconscious Watson behind. Sherlock panicked and said something about being late for the train before he left.
