Chapter 5:
After about ten minutes, we arrived at a shack just outside of Bremin. Seriously, we came here on foot?! I sighed and hid behind the shack as the boys were all on the other side. I sighed, what the hell are they doing here? Even though that quake shook me up a bit, it didn't stop me from following the boys.
"If we're going to be able to control our powers, we are going to need to understand them," Felix announced. The other boys looked confused,
"What do you mean?" Andy asked. I heard Felix sigh,
"Alice is here." The other boys gasped,
"The restoring demon?" Andy asked again. My eye widened, why the hell are they talking about demons? What is a demon? There's no such thing, is there? I quickly pulled my phone back out of my pocket and hit record on it again, aiming it at the boys. Felix sighed,
"I don't know how she got here. But I know she got here the same time we did. Oscar found out somehow. But that doesn't matter, Andy you still have the talisman yeah?" Andy frowned,
"We can use our powers to protect us." Felix sighed,
"No, we can't. You don't even know how to control them," Andy sighed,
"Then show us," Felix scowled. Sam and Jake agreed with Andy,
"Teach us," Jake ordered. Sam nodded,
"You kind of owe us, dude." Felix's scowl grew, before sighed and walked off and started grabbing cans that were lying around. I cocked my head,
"What are you doing Felix?" I muttered under my breath. Then I saw it, Felix was staring directly at me. My eyes widened when I saw he was walking over here. I quickly hit stop on my phone, shoving it in my pocket before looking for a place to hide without being seen by the others. But I couldn't find one; Felix was right in front of me now. He quickly ducked down and picked up a can that was next to my feet, before looking at me,
"I don't care what you find out. Just promise you won't tell anyone," his voice was low and quiet. I nodded rapidly.
"Sorry Felix," he shrugged,
"It's okay, but no one can know okay?" I nodded again,
"Of course Felix." He smiled at me before getting up and walking off. I let out a breath I didn't realise I was holding, before pulling my phone out and hitting record again. Felix sighed at this but made no comment. I rolled my eyes,
"If you are going to be doing something really cool, I want to be able to see it again. Okay?" Felix nodded, sighed again before walking back to the others,
"Okay... Sam, you're first." Sam smiled happily and walked up to where the first can was now sitting on a post. From here Sam kept on doing weird things like waving his hands about and in the air. I frowned at what he was doing. When he was done, and nothing happened, he frowned. Andy then thought of something,
"Sam, you said when it happened last time you sneezed," Sam smiled again and looked at Felix who had a look of contemplation on his face.
"Maybe, it could be a physical trigger." As if on cue, Sam sneezed getting snot all over Andy. I giggled quietly, but not quietly enough,
"What was that?" Jake asked Felix,
"There's nothing over there. Don't worry about it," I smiled knowing Felix knew I was here but wasn't letting Jake know. I knew if Jake knew I was here I would be in trouble.
"Moving on, Jake you have a go." Sam and Jake swapped spots and Jake moved his hands into fists and his face turned hard... and red. I bit my lip making sure I wouldn't giggle this time. Felix sighed, placing his hand on his forehead,
