I was frustrated. He's here in front of me after all this time. He could've come to Asgard years ago and only now does he show up, and with nothing to say to me about being absent for five years.

"Now, seeing as Thor's unavailable I'm sure you'll be leaving." I told them as I tried to remain calm. I was getting more and more frustrated the more I processed that he was here, right in front of me.

"Sorry, Y/n, We can't do that," Steve told me. "Tony sent us to recruit Thor or you. We can't leave empty-handed. Please it's urgent."

"Well, Steve I'm not sure if you saw," I began with a sassy tone. "But I have a daughter to care for, as well as a kingdom."

"If it's all the same to you," Loki spoke up. "I could care for Asgard's needs while you're away."

"Well, I still have my daughter, who I am not leaving here." I insisted.

"Bring her with us!" Steve offered.

My brother leaned in close to me. "Sister, I think a trip to Midgard would be fantastic for her," he whispered. "She's always been fascinated with Midgard. Besides she could get to know James as well. I know it's sudden but she deserves it."

"Fine but I'm not telling either of them just yet. This isn't how I intended for them to meet and I need some time." I explained.

I turned to face Steve and Bucky. "Very well. I will gather my gear from the training center, meet me at the Bifrost. Loki, please inform Freya to gather her things for the trip."

I walked off towards the training center. It had felt like forever since I needed my gear, as queen I don't do any fighting, and since I've been the total amount of fighting has been at a minimum. I put the sheath around my waist and grabbed my knives. Just then I heard a noise behind me. I drew a knife at them and held it under their chin before realizing it was Bucky.

"Oh, " I sighed. "It's you. You frightened me."

"Can we talk?" he asked. I felt like he hadn't taken his eyes off me since he got here.

"I suppose." I agreed, reluctantly.

"You've been gone for almost six years and I can't help but feel like you don't want to talk to me." he sounded sad but I was still angry.

"A lot can happen in six years, Buck," I stated "I've been quite busy."

"-uh and -um" he paused. "What about your daughter?"

"What about her James?" I bluntly let out. "She's not your concern anyways. Just my own." I lied out of anger. Of course, she's his concern, she's his daughter. But after missing 5 years of her life he thinks now, when he comes to recruit me to fight, is a good time to ask about her. I disagree, she should've met him years ago.

"Right, yeah of course." He sighed. "I'll be at the Bifrost." I nodded as he left.

I know I shouldn't lie to him, or my daughter. After this mission, I'll tell them the truth, but for now, I can't. It could throw the focus off of the mission.

I walked to my daughter's room, which was my old room, and saw Loki helping her pack.

"Mommy was the man at your meeting my daddy?" She asked me.

I know I can't lie to her but for now, I can't tell her either. Bucky and I need to focus on our mission, then I can answer all their questions. "Sweetie, remember when I told you there are good times to talk about stuff and then bad times to talk about stuff?"

"Mhm, I can't talk about bugs at the dinner table." She beamed up at me. I loved her curious mind.

"Well my dear, this trip to Midgard is a bad time to ask about your dad okay? We all are very focused on fighting some bad guys." I explained to her. "I promise, my dear when this is all over I'll answer more questions. I don't want you asking the other people either."

"Okay, momma!" She smiled brightly.

"Let's head to the Bifrost, shall we?" I extended my hands and picked her up. I grabbed both of our bags with my free arm that wasn't carrying her.

We got to the Bifrost and I saw Steve and Bucky waiting for me. Bucky had looked like he had just gotten done crying.

I walked towards them then turned away from them to face Heimdall. I felt Freya adjusting her head so she faced behind me. "Hi Mister," she said to Bucky. "Why are you sad?"

"It's nothing to worry about, love." He wiped some tears and forced a smile.

Freya brought up her hand in front of him and grew a flower right in her palm, just like Loki and I taught her. "Here, this is to make you feel happy." She handed him the flower.

"Oh thank you so much, it's my favorite!" Bucky exclaimed as he happily took the flower.

"Eh-hem. Heimdall," I spoke up. "To Midgard please."

Heimdall sent us off to Midgard and we landed right on the launchpad of the avenger's tower. It felt so familiar yet so strange to be back.
