We were in the middle of training when we got the announcement. "Suit up everyone!" Tony shouted. "It's go time."
Everybody got ready then met up on the launchpad. I saw Bruce board the jet. "Woah, hold on. I was gonna have you watch Freya."
"No, I'm driving the jet." Bruce told me.
"Then who the hell is gonna watch my daughter?!" I shouted.
Bruce shrugged as he made his way into the jet. "Ask Barnes," Tony suggested as he came outside. "Your daughter likes him anyway. Wonder why?" He winked at me.
"Isn't He coming on the mission?" I asked
"It's a former Hydra scientist," Tony began. "So unless you want a Winter Soldier return, no he's not coming."
I marched inside and saw Bucky already helping Freya to some breakfast. "You didn't tell me you weren't coming on the mission." I said to him.
"Can't." He said as he handed Freya the plate.
"Can you watch her while I'm gone then?" I asked.
"I'd love to." He smiled. I turned and began walking away until he called out to me. "Hey! Be safe, please?"
"You won't lose me this time Barnes." I smiled and walked to the jet.
On the jet, I sat across from Nat, next to Steve. "Did you tell him yet?" Nat asked.
"No, after the mission." I told her.
"C'mon Y/n, he deserves to know he's been spending this time with his daughter." She lectured.
Steve jumped up. "Freya's his daughter?!" He exclaimed.
"You're probably the only one that didn't know Cap." Tony chimed in. "I'm surprised Barnes doesn't know. The kid's exactly like him. Stubborn. Dangerous. Wants to fight all the time."
"Alright we're on location guys, everyone have their coms?" Bruce announced as we hovered over an abandoned Hydra base surrounded by a robotic army.
"I forgot mine do we have extra?" I asked.
"Fresh out. Just stay close." Nat informed me.
We jumped down and began attacking the robots. I was focusing mostly on using my abilities, taking branches from nearby and using them to pierce the robotic army.
I could hear Nat say something but couldn't hear what. I started getting further from her due to the number of robots.
I was completely surrounded. "Guys, a little help?!" I shouted.
