From Another Time II: Needing You

Chapter 11

I stormed into the throne room where Loki calmly sat on my throne. I threw a knife and it hit right next to his head. "Trust me, brother, I never miss twice!"

"Sister, you're back! What seems to be the problem?" He asked.

"You lied!" I shouted as I got up to his face. "You interfered with Heimdall to prevent me from seeing Bucky!"

"Sister when have I ever lied to you?" He innocently asked.

"When you found a way to Midgard without the Bifrost." I angrily answered.

"In my defense, I thought James was dead at that point." He backed into a wall in fear.

"You stopped me from finding him!" I shouted.

"Now, why would I do that?"

"You never liked him!" I snarled.

"Yes, but would I do that to Freya?"

I backed up and took a deep breath. "Perhaps."

"No, I would never!" He told me. "Nothing is more important to me than her happiness. I tried so hard to find him."

Quickly someone came running in. "Sister wait!" Thor shouted. "I'm sorry I didn't know!"

I turned to face Thor. "What have you done, brother?"

"I kept Sir James away from you. I wanted you to focus on ruling Asgard." He explained.

"You kept him away from his daughter!" I shouted.

"By the time I learned about Freya James had stopped trying! Not until recently." He explained.

"Thor, I can't believe you right now."

"I can," Bucky spoke up. "He had good intentions Y/n. He didn't do it the right way but he had good intentions."

"Very well." I reluctantly agreed. "We need to grab our things from Midgard."

The three of us returned to the house and grabbed our things. "Do you have to take her? When can I see you next?" Bucky asked.

"Bucky I need to stay on Asgard to rule as Queen," I explained. He sulked. "I could use a King."

He jumped up. "Really?!" I nodded.

Bucky quickly hugged me and began picking his things.

We returned to the tower and said our goodbyes. "Visit more than once in six years Okay?" Nat joked.

"We will."

Bruce came up to me and hugged me. "I know I couldn't get emotional but I care about you kid. I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you too Banner." I smiled as we headed to the launchpad.

Bucky looked at Steve. "Hey!" Steve looked up. "Don't do anything stupid 'till I get back."

"How can I?" Steve replied. "You're taking all the stupid with you."

Bucky chuckled then looked up. "Heimdall, take us home."

After returning to Asgard, Bucky was made King. He and Freya spent a lot of time together, especially training. We visit Midgard many times a year now making sure to keep up with our friends. I'm happy to finally spend eternity with the love of my life and our dear daughter.
