They were in Purgatory. Godsbody's realm of fears. Every Daedra that was on Nirn was there. Even the ones that had nothing to do with the battle in Cyrodiil. They all stand still, but they're ready to fight again. Mehruenss Dagon, Molag Bal, and Godsbody tower over all the other Daedra, but they're not moving either.

"What... did you just do?" Mehrunes Dagon asks. Every Daedra in purgatory could hear him, that's how silent it was. It was as if time was frozen.

"I did something to ensure Nirn will never be harmed by Daedra like you." Godsbody says. "I closed the veil." Mehrunes face goes from surprisingly calm and confused to furious in nothing. He picks his large axe up.

"I will kill you, and tear open the veil!" Mehrunes shouts.

"No, you won't." Godsbody says, and Mehrunes doesn't move. "You failed to realized that in destroying the amulet of kings, I did more then seal the veil. I absorbed the essence within. I'm sure you can figure the rest out." Godsbody says and turns away from him. He looks at Molag Bal. "Now you have another enemy you're weaker then." That only angered the prince of brutality.

"I might not be able to kill you completely, but you are not a Daedric prince nor are you stronger then me." Molag Bal says in reply and Godsbody just laughs.

"Do you wanna test that? In front of two armies of Daedra? Your embarrassment will be hysterical when I beat you, 'prince of domination'. I'd like to see you try." Godsbody knew he was just provoking the prince, but that was his goal.

The lizard like prince swings his mace at Godsbody without warning, but Godsbody sees it coming and counters with an uppercut, knocking Molag on his butt. Godsbody drops his arms like he wasn't trying. "Maybe do something less predictable." Godsbody laughs.

Molag Bal gets back up. "Fool! You will not cross the prince of brutality!" He yells, but Godsbody doesn't react.

"I cross whoever I want, Molag." Godsbody says confidently. Molag swings a claw at Godsbody, and he deflects it, but Molag countered with a swing of his mace, hitting Godsbody in the shoulder. Godsbody stagers in pain, then something stabs him from behind. He looks down to see a dagger protruding out of his chest. He looks up to see Molag standing before him, but Molag wasn't the one who stabbed him.

"You may be stronger, but two can over power one." Molag Bal says, then the person behind Godsbody rips the dagger out of him. He falls to the ground bleeding, then looks to see his second attacker. It was Mehrunes Dagon.

Godsbody gets back to his feet and faces Mehrunes. He pulls out two swords and starts slashing at the Daedric prince of destruction. Dagon deflects his attacks, but every now and then he cuts the prince.

Suddenly, Dagon pushes though Godsbody's slashes, and lacerates Godsbody across the stomach, creating another bleeding wound. Godsbody growls in frustration and pain. He looks down, then back up at the creature that created him. Dagon used that moment of weakness to stab Godsbody again, knocking him to his knees. The Daedric prince picks up his axe where it was lying on the ground from before they started fighting.

Before the prince could do anything, two swords suddenly appear though the prince. He looks behind him, and Godsbody uses that to stand up. Molag was standing behind Dagon, but he wasn't the one who stabbed Dagon.

"Foolish mortal." Molag Bal says, and lifts his mace high in the air. Godsbody crosses his arms and draws on his power. He shouts and releases a strong burst of power, sending the princes and their Daedra back to their realms.

All that was left was Aranith holding two swords with fear in her eyes. Molag Bal was about to hit her with his mace. She breathes heavily and looks at Godsbody. "Thanks.." She says, but it's only a whisper.

Godsbody was still bleeding, and he used some of his power to heal himself. "Are you hurt?" He asks her and she shakes her head.

"You banished them before they could harm me. You saved my life." Aranith says in shock. "I knew you weren't bad. I didn't believe it." Godsbody just nods and looks around. His realm seemed bare without all the Daedra in it. A good amount of his Daedra were killed in the battle in Cyrodiil, but they'd soon be back.

"You helped me as well, so you don't owe me anything. You should probably head back to Vvardenfell and let Nysaiah know you're alright. She's probably worried about you." Godsbody says and turns away. "I have more work to do now that my realm is the veil between Nirn and oblivion. I have to make sure no Daedra can get out." Godsbody opens a portal near Aranith. "I also need to make sure no foolish mortals walk though to oblivion where they'd get themselves killed."

Aranith nods. "Why don't you meet me in Vvardenfell when you're done? I plan to tell Nys about all that happened here. She deserves to know the truth and know what you did for the mortal races." Godsbody considers her offer.

"That's a good idea. If Nysaiah doesn't want me around, I will leave. I have other things I need to do on Nirn before I meet you. It's time my name is amount those of the Daedric princes. I'm more powerful then Molag Bal and Mehrunes Dagon now." Godsbody says to the small elf. "They must know that there's now a new Daedric prince. One that's there to protect the mortal realm and stop Daedra like Molag and Dagon from destroying it."

Aranith puts a foot through the portal. "Thank you Godsbody. For saving not only me, but every other mortal." Godsbody watches as she walks through the portal. Godsbody wipes some of the blood off of him, then gets to business on developing his realm more.
