"Let me tell you a story." Godsbody stands before a crowd of mortals, but more importantly, the leaders of the alliance war. "It starts with a dunmeri couple and a little Daedric creature." Godsbody was in his mortal form, so to the mortals, he just looked like a brute Nord named Jurgan. "The couple saved the small Daedra from who knows what. It was obvious this creature was created by the Daedric prince of destruction, Mehrunes Dagon. He looked a lot like his governing prince, but there were many differences too.

"The Daedra grew to be come a part of the dunmeri family, until one day the mother told him to go outside and play. That same day, the town was visited by some nasty Dremora. They told the town of Seyda Neen to give up the little Daedra, or they'd destroy the town til they found him. By this time, the little Daedra was old enough to understand the situation.

"He wanted to give himself up, but the dunmeri people drove the Daedra out. The Dunmer were angry that the little daedra's existence attracted the attention of the Daedric prince the Dremora were governed by. They told the Daedra to give himself up when the Dremora came back for him. The Daedra did as they asked.

"In turn, the prince was angry that the little Daedra was taken from him. So the prince trained the Daedra then gave him the task to destroy the town that took him from the prince.

"The Daedra didn't quite understand why he was of significance to the prince. As he thought more about it, he realized how unique he really was. Everyone always called him a Ruinach, but he was sooth skinned, and the Ruinachs were not. The Daedra started to realize he looked like his prince, so he asked the prince about it, and the prince gave him an answer.

"The little Daedra was a demiprince. An offspring of the prince of destruction himself, and a lesser being. The demiprince turned against his father and helped the mortals stop the prince of domination, Molag Bal.

"Once Molag Bal was defeated, the demiprince stole a powerful artifact, with some of Molags essence trapped inside. He stole some of Mehrunes Dagon's essence as well, then created his own realm to escape the princes' wrath.

"Now, the demiprince has closed the veil between Nirn and oblivion by making his realm the veil." Godsbody finishes, then changes to his true form. The crowd of mortals gasped in shock. "My name is Godsbody. I absorbed the essence of Molag and Dagon when I destroyed the amulet of kings to cast the Daedra out of here. I'm the only Daedra that can travel between realms with ease. Anyone who passes though my realm will face a set of challenges to test their willpower, and to test them against the horrors of oblivion.

"The little Daedra from the story is me. From a long time ago. I have changed since then. I was a foolish little demiprince, and now I am the Daedric prince of fears, loyalty and protection. I will protect Nirn from the dangers of oblivion as long as the mortals of Nirn are smart enough to stay out of my realm and the rest of oblivion.

"I may now be a Daedric prince, but I am not your enemy." Godsbody says, then walks up to the alliance leaders. "I lived amongst mortals without knowing the difference between myself and you. Mortal lives mean nothing to princes like Molag and Dagon, but you mean something to me. I will be your protection from the other Daedric princes and their servants.

"I do not ask for your acceptance, I am here only to inform you." Godsbody reaches out his hands to the alliance leaders. "I will not have a apart of your mortal affairs, unless your affairs concern me." He shakes the alliance leaders hands then walks away from them.

"The Daedra will not be able to enter your realm unless they are here to do no harm, or they are summoned by you. Anything you do with Daedra will be on you. The Daedra cannot enter my realm, or Nirn without help, or clearance. They will not be here to do harm, unless summoned by a mortal. If that is so, you are to blame for your own demise."

"If a mortal is to enter my realm, it will be a hostile environment, and only the worthy and strong can pass though into the gates of the other oblivion realms."

"This is impossible!" A man yells from the crowd. He was obviously a Khajiit. The Khajiit that spoke pushes his way through the crowd and stands before Godsbody. "There's no way you're a Daedric prince. I know the mortal couple that raised you, Godsbody. Only the woman remained and she made it very clear you are not to be trusted. Leave this realm and never come back." He says, and pulls out two daggers.

"I'm the one that stopped this Daedric invasion. I sent every Daedra on Nirn back to oblivion." Godsbody says, getting annoyed. "I saved your kind, mortal."

"You might have saved us, but Daedra aren't good. You would stab us in the back given the chance." Some people in the crowd nod and shout at what he said. It's clear they were on the Khajiit side. "Jo'anir would rather die then side with the likes of you!" He yells, and the crowd shouts too.

"So be it, but I will be here watching from oblivion. You can thank me for keeping you safe the next time you run across a Daedric shrine." Godsbody smiles and turns away. "Think on this. I haven't done anything to harm you. I am here now, manifested on Nirn, and yet I haven't tried to enslave or destroy your kind." Godsbody says, then opens a portal. "I can walk on Tamriel anytime I please. My realm is the veil, and it will keep Nirn safe." Godsbody walks through the portal before Jo'anir can say a word to him.

Everyone in the crowd starts dispersing into their different factions. "The Daedra may be gone, but this isn't a truce." The leader of the ebonheart pact says to the other alliance leaders, then he turns walks away.
