3 - The Next Generation (part 2)

"I triggered my curse!" Andrea screams. She is terrified of herself right now.

Hope looks around to see the hunter's body beneath the tree, she sees the gun and immediately knows that her daughter killed him in self-defense.

"Did he attack you?" Hope asks her, she nods her head.

"He knew I was a witch mom, i-it felt as if he was hunting and I was a prey! I told him to stay back but he didn't s-so I shot a fireball at him but I missed an-and then he tried to shoot me and it all happened so fast and I was scared so I blasted him but he died, mom! I-I killed him! I'm a monster!" she cries harder as she recalls what happened

"You are not a monster Andrea! you are anything but it. he tried to kill you so you acted in self-defense. Love you did nothing wrong. sure, killing is never a good thing but you had nothing else to do. I know that you are shaken from what happened, but this is the world we live in. You and your brother were born with the gene just like me, it was bound to happen. I'm just glad that you are okay and that you didn't kill him just to kill. Let's head home, I'll have someone clean it up and we'll figure everything in the morning okay?"

Andrea nods and the two walk up back to the house. They enter Andrea's room and Hope waits for her daughter to fall asleep before going back to her beloved wife, who noticed that Hope left the room and was waiting to know what happened.

"Is everything okay Hope?" she asks as she notices her wife looking stressed.

Hope sighs and shakes her head "No...Andrea triggered her curse 20 minutes ago. She was attacked by a hunter and acted on self defense."

This takes Josie by surprise, her face full of concern and fear for her youngest daughter "Is she okay? did he hurt her? where is she?"

Hope seats next to her wife, wrapping a comforting arm around her "She is shaken from what she did, which is completely understandable, though she is convinced that she is a monster so you might need to have a little chat with her about monsters and demons inside us. He tried to hurt her but she killed him before he could do anything. She is in her room, sleeping, or pretending to be asleep because she is walking to her brother's room."

Meanwhile, in Lucas' room, Andrea walked in quietly and got under the covers next to her brother, who immediately wrapped his arms around her as he sensed that something is wrong with his twin.

Andrea can't help herself and starts crying, sobbing into her brother's shoulder "I'm a monster, Lucas! I'm a killer! I'm a murderer!" she cries. Right there and then Lucas knew that his sister triggered her curse, but he also knew that it wasn't her fault. He felt her emotions and he felt fear, shock, and guilt.

"Hey hey it's okay Andy. Let it all out It's okay" he slowly unwraps his arms to sit in front of his sister.

"Take a deep breath, slowly in and slowly out. We will figure it all out. Have you told mom?" he asks calmly, his sister nods.

"Good, that's good. I'm sure she told mama and they both have a plan, just like they did when I triggered my curse. I know it's scary Ann, you must be terrified. But we will get through this together okay? because we are family, and family..."

"Is Always and Forever" Andrea finishes for him.

"Exactly. Now go to sleep, It will be okay. I promise." He says as he lays down again and wraps his arms protectively around his sister.

It is now Saturday morning, Hope and Josie are on their way to wake up their children, and as they walk in they remember why they wanted to have kids. They see Lucas and Andrea wrapped together, Lucas protecting Andrea from everything that may come. The two moms couldn't be prouder of them.
