The bright shine of the sun blared through the window hitting Maggie in the eyes. She smiled when she felt Glenn's arm still wrapped around her. Her fingers webbed between his. The heat of his body warmed her.

"Good morning beautiful." Glenn whispered as he leaned in to kiss Maggie's cheek.

"Morning"." She turned to face him and smiled. There eyes connected. They snuggled together as the heat of his body warmed her.

There was a silence, then Glenn spoke, "we should get dressed. We got a lot to do today."
"Right." Maggie got out of bed and put her robe on. "I'm going in the shower."

Once in the bathroom she turned the water on, got undressed, and stepped in. At first the water was cold, but then it warmed up. A few seconds later she herd the door open.

"I'm in the shower," She said. There was no respond. Before she knew it a hand was around her mouth and Glenn stepped in.

Maggie ripped his hand off. "What are you doing?" She looked shocked.

"I need to take a shower too, and why waste water?" He leaned in and lightly kissed her on the lips.

It was happening again. She couldn't move, not a bit. Soon she couldn't help but wrap her arms around his neck and kiss him harder. His arms pulled her closer by the waist. Her fingers combed through his hair, and at last they knew they were truly in love.

That night both Glenn and Maggie sat on the porch swing. Glenn's arm was around Maggie and they both had a blanket covering them. It was a peaceful night with only the sound of crickets.

"Maggie, have I ever told you how much I love you?" Glenn asked.

"No." Maggie giggled a little. "But you can show me." The two leaned in slowly to kiss but were cut off by a gun shot.

"What?! Who was that?!" Glenn said. Everyone ran out of the house and looked off into the distance. There was a low grumble and they all knew what was coming.

They all ran inside to grab their guns. A gun was fired as walkers were surrounding the house. Maggie ran outside with Glenn and started aiming, shooting every walked in her way. They reached a spare truck that they got in. Maggie looked back to see a mother and her sun being surrounded. She hopped out of the car to help.

As she was shooting a walker came up behind her and brought her to the ground. She was struggling to keep it from hitting her. She heard a yell coming from the truck, then blood splattered everywhere on her. She pushed the dead walker off to see Glenn over her with his knife full of blood.

"Come on! We got to go!" Glenn yelled as h reached for Maggie.

"We can't leave them!" Maggie screamed.

Glenn grabbed Maggie's arm and pulled her to the truck. He quickly jumped in the drivers seat and drove away. Maggie's eyes started to water.

"How could you just leave them there!" She screamed, tears rushing down her face.

"It was either we all die or we live. Tell me Maggie, do you want to die?!" He yelled back not looking at her.

"I would've rather died with my family than leave them to die by themselves! You made me leave them behind so I could live!" Her face dropped into her knees soaking her jeans.

The rest of the drive was silent. Then out of nowhere came a walker.
