Maggie's head ached. She opened her eyes to see blood and broken glass everywhere. There were also parts of walkers scattered, and she knew they had been in an accident. Her head cocked to the side, and what she had seen wasn't pleasant. Her arm had gone through the windshield and she was scrapped all over. She tried to move, but cried out in pain.

Her head turned in the direction of Glenn. His seatbelt was still wrapped around him, but he seemed out cold. "G-Glenn?" She whispered. No response. She reached out for his hand and grabbed it. "G-Glenn! Glenn wake up!"

A crack came from the outside. Maggie looked back outside the shattered windshield and saw a figure walking towards her slowly. She was frightened for the figure looked like a walker coming for her. She grabbed her arm and started pulling on it to release it from the glass.

"Help! Someone help us!!!" She screamed, tears rushing down her face.

The figure ran to her. The next thing she knew a hand was over her mouth and someone was hushing her. "Don't yell, they'll hear you."

"Who?" Maggie questioned.

The man didn't speak. Instead he lifted her in his arms and carried her bridal style.

"Wait! You can't leave him here! He'll die!" Maggie cried.

"He is already dead. You must understand that."

The breath was taken out of her, she felt like she couldn't breathe. First she left her family and now Glenn? Why is she the one to survive and all the people she loves die? Why can't she die and have them live? Why is this happening to her?

The stranger carried her away from the car, but she didn't know where they went, for she had fainted.

Birds flutter above the trees as Maggie's head was laying on Glenn's lap. She glanced up to see him staring into her eyes.

"What are you doing?" She laughed.

His lips parted, "just admiring how beautiful you look in that dress."

Dress? She thought. She looked down to see herself in a white wedding dress, roses lying right next to her. She sat up and looked back at Glenn. "Why am I wearing this?"

He laughed. "It's our wedding." He leaned in and kissed her on the lips, the whole trance starting over again. He pulled away once music started playing. He reached out his hand, "can I have this dance?"

"I can't dance."

He smirked. "But I bet you can."

She took his hand. The two started dancing together with no one else to see them. It was amazing.

A knock came from the door. Maggie sat up frightened, where was she? Her face was wet from crying, it wasn't real. Glenn was really dead and she was the last one alive. The knock came again.

"Come in!" She yelled. The doorknob turned and a man came in. He had the same figure as the guy who took her away from Glenn did. He brought in a tray of food.

"Here, I made you some breakfast." He handed her the tray.

Without thinking, Maggie smacked the tray out of the mans hands. "You! You bastard! You left him behind!" Maggie jumped out of bed and ran for the door. The man slammed it shut and pushed her up against the door, a tight grip on her wrists.

"I saved you." He said under his breath. "I could have left you to die, but there was something about you that made me not able to leave you." His mouth was up against her ear.

"I would've rather died with him than leave him to come here with you!" She spit on his face. The man let go of her and growled, wiping the spit off his face.

"That's it, I've had enough with you." He ran after her. Maggie ran back to the bed but he was too fast. He pushed her down making her hit her head, then put his hand on her throat.

Another man ran in the room and pulled the one on top of Maggie off. "What the hell are you doing?!" The man yelled. "You could've killed her!"

"She was being a little bitch." The man scowled towards Maggie. She looked up at the other man who had saved her life. His face was in a form that was so unique.

"Sorry, I didn't introduce myself. I'm Daryl. Daryl Dixon." The man said, a smirk on his face. "This is my friend Russell," he put his hand up to his mouth so it was blocking his view of Russell. "He can be a douche." Daryl chuckled.

"I heard that!" Russell said.

Daryl reached out his hand for Maggie to take. She did. But the touch of his hand was different... Really different. He put his arm on her back and opened the door, "I'll show you around. Welcome to Woodbury."
