Trapped in a reality that never existed,But was made up in the confines of my mind.
Where no escape was ever gifted
In a land that was never bound by time.
Wondering to and fro from distant shores,
Where I can venture into the unknown.
And choose my own path through various open doors,
Though the downside is, I'm always alone.
Of course I can imagine you there with me,
So close but I could never seem to grasp you.
For if I did, you would just wither and float away, you see,
Like dust on the wind, and though I ask you to stay, you never do.
This path I follow aimlessly within my broken dreams,
An endless blur between right, and wrong, evil, and goodness.
And though I'd take every chance to escape by any means,
Fighting the demons inside my mind might just tip me over the edge into madness.
