"do you think chaeryeong unnie is fine?" yuna asked quietly, lia lying on her lap, playing a game on her phone.the older girl sighed, placing her phone down. "i'm not sure. ryujin hasn't gotten back to us either," she replied, taking yuna's hand into hers.
as soon as lia said that, her phone buzzed and she jumped up, showing yuna the notification on the screen.
"quick! reply her!"
"i still can't believe that yeji rejected chaeryeong like that," lia sighed, rolling over to rest nicely beside yuna, her head lying on the younger's arm.
"maybe we should hold back our big announcement," yuna said, taking lia's phone away from her and holding it up just a few centimetres away from the tip of her girlfriend's fingers.
"i hate you," lia grumbles, giving up and deciding to let yuna put her phone away.
"no you don't," yuna teased.
lia rolled her eyes, ignoring yuna.
"we got together at a really bad time, don't you think?" yuna said.
"don't say that! it took you so much to confess and now you're saying this? it's not our fault that their feelings are in a mess!" lia replies with a pout.
four days ago:
"so it's just us today?"
yuna nodded, pulling out something from her pocket, almost dropping it onto the floor. she fumbled with it nervously before pushing it to lia who was sitting across her.
"what's up with you today?" lia teases, laughing at yuna's clumsiness.
the younger groaned.
"oh! it's a fortune cookie!" lia squealed. however, her smile soon dropped and turned into a small pout as she realised that the cookie had broke.
