Dear Celia,

I think about you,

I miss your touch.

The way your hands move gracefully when you are kneeling and tending to the flowers in your father's compound.

I think about you.

The way you smile at the most insignificant things

The way your eyes light up when you see someone you love.

The way they lit for a little while before we were cruelly ripped apart

Dear Celia,

Remember the day the letter came?

The letter that destroyed our white church dream.

The letter that transported me to a country where the days are longer and the nights are dreaded.

Where the grounds are littered with mud and Bodies.

Where sounds could either mean fireworks or death.

It's always the latter.

The only memory keeping me sane is of your promise.

The promise you made in smiles and tears.

To wait,

Wait for the one you loved

Dear Celia,

I was injured,

Badly,

But the wounds are only physical and my joy is to the moon and back for I will be returning home tomorrow.

I would get myself injured a thousand time over, if it meant coming home to your beautiful smile once again.

Dear Celia,

You kept your promise, but not for long.

You told me you were going to be fine.

But you met with a fate that I better deserved.

This is my final letter to you, but I hope you will wait for me beyond,

But until then, our love shall stay strong.

A love lost, found, then lost again.

Hopefully to be found again.

To my Dear Celia,

Forever and always.
