As the group walked out of school they saw Ivy standing by a group of girls. Ivy noticed her friends and said her goodbyes. "What's up," She asked while jogging over. "Ah, I see Princess Popular decided to join us today," Leo said while bowing towards Ivy. Ivy put her hand on her hip and raised an eyebrow, "Oh Leo, I love you, but you annoy me so much." Leo feinted a gasp and turned towards the rest of us, "Did you hear that? She loves me!" The rest of the group rolled their eyes but started giggling. "Should we head to Blue Hill to celebrate the last day of school," Faye asked. "As long as you're paying," Owen teased. The group started to walk down to the sidewalk. "Owen, I am utterly offended, I would have thought that after knowing me for 6 years you would know that I never have money." The sea air washed over them, as seagulls flew overhead. Fellow neighbors walked the streets of the small fishing town and waved hello to the kids. Once they got to Blue Hill, they took their usual booth in the corner and proceeded to look at the menu. "You know, I'm not sure why we even bother with the menu when we always get the same thing," Eden stated. A waitress came over to jot down their orders, starting with Leo, "I'll just take a side of fries." The waitress jotted it down and looked to Owen next, "Just a strawberry shake please." Faye blurted out, "I'll just share with Owen." The waitress lifted her gaze to look at the both of them and scribbled it down. "I'll have a mint milkshake, with extra whipped cream," Ivy said. Leo excused himself from the table as the waitress looked to Eden. "Oh, I'll just have a chocolate shake please." The waitress left with their orders and Ivy immediately turned towards Faye. "Have you confessed yet?" The other two looked towards Faye as her face turned a deep red. "No, I have not, and I don't want to talk about it here." Owen turned an eyebrow at her but she shook her head. Eden on the other hand wanted to know more, "Is there something you'd like to share with the class?" Faye started to say no when Ivy interrupted her, "Faye likes Leo." Owen looked at Faye, who's face had gone from deep red to bright red. Eden just shrugged her shoulders, "Oh please, I think even Leo knows that." Faye gasped, "What! Who told him?" Eden shook her head, "No one told him anything, but it's kinda obvious." Faye groaned and put her head on the table. Ivy patted her back and glared at Eden who just shrugged again. The waitress brought their food to the table and Faye snatched Owen's milkshake before he could reach for it. She took a long sip while Ivy continued to talk, "Look, I think you should just tell him. You only live once and It's just Leo, afterall." Faye passed the milkshake to Owen and sighed, "Yeah, that's the thing, It's Leo. I've known him since forever and I don't want to make things awkward or ruin our friendship." Eden pushed Leo's fries towards the middle and the group began to dip them in their milkshakes. "Well he might like you, but you'll never know until you ask," Ivy replied. At that moment Leo appeared from the bathroom, "What will you not know?" The group looked up at Leo who took his seat in the booth, "Ah, nothing. Faye was just contemplating whether she should ask Mr. Harold about her grade." Faye let out the breath she was holding and nodded along with the lie. "It's summer break now, just forget about it," Leo smiled, then noticed that his fries had already been eaten. "Guys, not again. If you want your own fries I will happily pay for them so you don't steal mine." Eden's phone buzzed and as she went to look at it Faye stole the rest of Owens milkshake. "Hey, I've gotta go. My mom needs help with Jade." Leo stood up and stretched, "Yeah, I should get going too." Owen was in the middle of throwing his straw wrapper at Faye when she stood up too, "Me too, I'll walk with you." Owen and Ivy waved bye at them and Owen sighed. "You ok," Ivy asked. "Hm? Oh yeah I'm fine." Ivy nodded and stood, "Well, I need to plan things out for cheer camp this summer. You wanna walk with me?" Owen nodded and stood with her.
