Alaina and Loki slowly opened their eyes. They were laying on their backs. Sand was everywhere. Small lizards sat on nearby rocks. The warm sun beated down on them. Loki jumped up. "Oh God. It's very hot." He helped Alaina up to her feet. "What is this place? Are we still on Earth?" she wondered. Loki took off her jacket. "I'm not sure." No cars were in sight. "Come on. Let's get walking." Loki shook sand out of his helmet.

They walked down a dirt road. It probably stretched hundreds of miles. Loki kept walking until he noticed Alaina was far behind him. He jogged back to her. She was covered in sweat. "I'm getting tired." Loki tried using his teleportation powers to get back to the Stark Tower, but no luck. Loki sighed. He decided to take a break. Alaina sat on a rock beside him. He was trying to get himself together. If he didn't mess with the machine, then none of this would've happened. He regretted his decision.

Alaina ran over to a cactus. "Water!" she screamed. Loki was confused. "What's that?" He's never seen one before. "It's called a cactus. There's water inside. If you hit it, then we can collect the water." Loki made cups appear. He tossed them to Alaina. She held the cups under the cactus, waiting for the water to fall. "We are being blessed with water." Loki positioned his fists and gave the cactus a punch. Instead of water coming out, cactus thorns stuck to his knuckles. "Ooh. Ouch! What an evil cactus!" he yelled. He used his dagger to cut open the cactus. Water began trickling into the cups. 'Seriously Loki. Why didn't you use the dagger in the first place?' he thought.

After drinking some refreshing water, they continued on their journey. As they walked more miles, a small town appeared. An older man riding a horse approached them. Alaina looked up at Loki. He gave her a hopeful smile. Tumbleweeds cartwheeled in the wind. "Hello there. Please hop on. I'm Richard. Pleased to meet you both." Loki and Alaina got onto the saddle. They galloped into the orange sunset.
