Hey everyone,
So, this is the book that hit at least two copyright roadblocks right after it was written.
Actually, I wrote this one and am partly through the next one before I realized that telling the same story from a different point of view actually violates copyright. So, RIP me.
The first part of this story actually doesn't violate anything, so I'll post it because I think it's just a nice wholesome bit. Expect the story to change and adapt though, once I actually get a new plot line for this series.
Until then, enjoy Marvin's first five days stranded without support in the jungle.

Update (11/18/21)
I am taking a risk.
After starting another book—The Only Rainwing In the War by GachaCraft8760–I have decided to publish the version of WOH that I was so worried about.
My reasoning being that GachaCraft has admitted to using the plot and characters told from another perspective (which I believed to violate copyright), and that (at the time) her story is way more traveled than mine, seemingly without issues.
While I will still error on the side of caution, I do accept responsibility for my story, and only hope that I can share a variation of Tui's amazing book series as well, without being forced into a legal matter.
Should this violate copyright, I will promptly take down the violating parts, or the entire story, as soon as possible. I do not intend to violate copyright. Nor do I profit or, in any knowledgeable way, benefit from this work.
As for the future of this story, I will begin the process of adapting my drafted work to be published on Wattpad. Expect more frequent updates to WOH.
