UNSC Silence of The Night

Ghost steps out of the lab, having done with his 'Chat' with Overhaul. He closed the door to the lab, and went to the bridge. He stops by the girl's bedroom, seeing her sleeping peacefully, for the first time in a long time presumably, and continues to the bridge.

He arrived in the bridge, and immediately summoned Deku for report.

Deku: "All Heroes survived, but notably Endeavor was put on medical leave for a while."

Ghost: "Good, continue to monitor the situation." Sigh "Fire up the Sim Deck, I'll go training."

Deku: "Of course, I'll alert you if the girl is awake."

Ghost left for the Simulations deck, where he could clear his mind with some weapons exercise. After some time walking through the hallways of Silence of The Night, he finally reached the Deck. Contrary to what the name might lead you to believe, the ship isn't silent at all. Between the 20 Huragoks and 200 Sentinels on board, things are just as loud as if the ship has a full crew. Just more mechanical sounds of robots and living super computers, rather than drunken Marines and ODST Poker Night.

Ghost reached the Sim deck, already up and running. He simply punched in the details and went to the simulation pod. The system activates, and his hud popped up, as hordes of Covenants are swarming him. He pumped his shotgun, and gets shooting.

0523 Hours

*Boom*

Ghost shoot the last Zealot with a blast from his shotgun. As the Elite's body flew away, he could hear the announcers declaring the end of the simulation, and his mission report appeared on his hud. Satisfied, he turn off the simulation and exit the pod. Just after he exit, Deku informed him that the girl is awake. So he makes his way to her bedroom.

He opened the door, and the girl immediately turn her head towards him, and she still cowers. He suppose that she's just afraid of everyone which he can't exactly blame but whatever.

Ghost: "Hey kid you good?"

The girl didn't answer, probably still afraid, which was understandable considering he's a 6'10 armored dude with a skull helmet. Though after some awkward silence, a growl was heard and the girl holds her stomach.

Ghost: "You're hungry?" The girl nods "follow me."

The girl followed Ghost, as he walked towards the Armory. He told the girl to wait for him outside as he entered towards the armory. Inside, rows of guns and weapons are stacked on racks, but he's not paying attention to the weapons as much as he was to the machine in front of him. He stepped into the machine, as it takes off his MJOLNIR armor piece by piece. When it's done, he's only wearing a Titanium undersuit. He took of the suit and put on some civilian clothing, a Blue Cargo Pants, Red Shoes, and Black Hoodie. He also put on some sunglasses and a mask.

He comes out, and saw Eri playing with one of the Huragok. They noticed, and the Huragok do some sign language and goes about it's day.

Ghost: sigh "This way."

The Pelican touched down on a field which have been converted to a mini base by Ghost and Deku. Deku transfer some funds from, less than savory companies and heroes, and Ghost bought some land to make a base on the surface, where he could land the Pelican without anyone noticing. Ghost and Eri dropped out of the Pelican and Ghost walked over to one of his Civilian Warthog, and drove away.
