Dave's POV
She's hot.
Were the first thoughts that clouded my head. I hadn't realised she had walked in until I heard the loud and quite annoying cat calls fill the once soundless room.
As she walked toward me I couldn't help but smirk. The way she avoided the filthy hands of the jerk in the large crowd of jerks couldn't help but make me chuckle to myself.
She was different. A good different.
By now she had sat down next to me after her tireless walk down the aisle. She probably knew who I was, because I knew who she was. We were from the same boat.
Rich, spoiled, expected from and just living life. I could just tell it was her the minute she sat down next to me. She was hot to say in the least but she was a different kind of hot.
She wasn't showing me everything she had, she wasn't a try-hard that tried to get in wherever they could. I had a lot of them in my lifetime and would probably see more at this prestigious dump of a school.
She was staring off into the distance looking at something outside her eyes clouded by thoughts. It gave me a minute to observe her properly. She was breathtaking. The sun hit her medium brown hair in the prettiest way, you could see the light red highlights that blended into her brunette hair.
She had beautiful blue eyes and with enough staring you could make out the shining green flecks she had hidden in them.
She was really pretty.
Who would've thought the bad girl of Pymble Yates would be so pretty?
"Ummm," I cleared my throat to get her attention and she whipped her head around the second I did.
She didn't give herself time to blush. I could see her flirty smirk forming on her face immediately, her lips looking soft, pink and everything else kissable.
It was a wonder that the first thing that happened to me at this school would be being kissed by those precious lips of hers. I was confused to say in the least but she kissed me, and hey I wasn't complaining.
Now I had a smirk on my face that matched hers. We both knew were this was going and it was going to be one hell of a ride.
I could tell behind that pretty face and flirty smirk that she had a story. A real one.
The story that made her into who she was because I had a story, the one that made a bad boy, a player, a cocky arrogant beast, whatever floats your boat.
She was different to other girls, normally a smirk was all they needed before they would fall into my arms and I would soon get bored of them. They were nothing to me but a fling, just for the fun of it.
But this girl was different. She made me want to sit down and really find out who she was, to really know her. To find out why she had put this barrier up like I had.
"Dave Hamilton," I gave her my hand probably smirking like a kid on high.
"Tessa Owens," She took my hand and we both smirked.
Because this was all just casualties. Greeting each other, looking innocent and acting it all out. When behind those innocent eyes were vultures waiting to prey on the person that you greeted pretending not to know.
She probably learnt it from her parents, we watch and learn. It's all the same really.
I knew her name and she knew mine but we greeted each other smirking sir names and all.
But that was life, the one thing that our parents had taught us without meaning to.
I didn't want to come off as creepy by following her all the way to her lockers but my one just happened to be across hers and I was enjoying watching her hips sway as she walked in front me.
As soon as I had reached my locker a crowd of girls, some wearing way too much makeup pounced on me as if they had been waiting this whole time.
I mean they probably were but you know.
I tried to get a glimpse of Tess but there were just way too many girls in the way.
I gave them my charming smile in hopes that they would faint on the spot. Yes I had that effect on some people.
Most of them swooned before me holding their hands to their hearts in such an exaggerated way that made me want to vomit.
Others tried to grab at my clothes and I soon got tired of the attention.
I looked over once again to find Tess looking into the eyes of... a guy.
I felt my body tensing before I relaxed myself. Why did I even care? It's not like she's mine or anything. Well you never know I mean... but that's not the point.
I hated the guts of that guy already and wanted to see Tessa's beautiful eyes again.
"Excuse me ladies," I smirked before walking across the corridor.
