Soon enough everyone was behind me, backing me up. As we walked over to the front of the house, I realised I was getting more and more nervous. What if something bad happened? What if it all screwed up again like last time?

Ana found my hand with hers and gave me a soft squeeze. I smiled at our hands intertwined and felt warm and fuzzy inside. Oh god I'm going soft.

It felt good though knowing Ana would be there with me every step but I was more nervous because I wasn't in my normal attire. Wearing such a short and flowing skirt was unusual but I had put my black sweater on so I was technically wearing all black again.

Feeling comfortable in what I was wearing was what I was good at and I always loved a good party. How do you step into a party? You drop all your worries and problems at the door and walk in prepared to have the best time of your life.

I sighed before letting both my arms drop beside me. I held my head high and straightened my back. Today we were all going to let loose and have some real fun. "Guys we're going in."

**********

Although we had all walked in together it wasn't soon before the 5 of us were separated by the crowd. The music pounded through the walls of the house and people were shouting and grinding up on each other.

I started swaying to the loud music and proceeded to pick up a drink from the drinks table that was laid out towards the front. I loved this environment, the pounding bass, hardstyle playing and everyone having a good time.

I started to dance with everyone else meeting some people and making friends with new people. Continuously saying hi to people as I met them. The night started to go on forever as more people started coming and the music steadily pounded.

It was moments like this that made me truly happy to be living life. I could see everyone around me with smiles on their faces, jumping up and down with their hands in the air. This type of environment where everyone is loving and you're welcomed no matter what. I loved it. And the memories after each night as well oh my.

I picked up another drink and the night started to fly by in an array of colours and sounds. But trust me, I am not a lightweight.

Looking around that's when I noticed a flash down further into the house. When I stared more closely I realised it was the flash of a camera. They were taking pictures!!

'Ana where the hell is Ana, we need to take pictures Ana where the hell are you'

I started looking around the room through the mess of bodies and smoke and lights. I tried to squeeze myself through the crowd closer towards the camera thinking maybe I would find Ana in more open space.

Finally squeezing out of the crowd I could breathe again. I looked around the room once more when I made eye contact with a pair of beautiful blue eyes. All thought of finding my best friend Ana was lost in a second.

Perched up against a wall casually was Dave. His eyes met with mine and simultaneously.

We smirked.

He was wearing a navy blue polo tee with a denim jogger style pants. He had his same blonde hair and his jawline was more defined under all the house party lights.

I thought to myself 'hahaha cute'

He started walking towards me and while he was doing so he looked over at the guy with the camera. A questioning look on his face.

I raised my eyebrows and stared back.

To take a photo or not to take a photo.

That is the question.
