Chaeryeong woke up again early today, it was a Sunday, a time with her family. As soon as she sat up from her bed, she checked her phone to see if she had any messages but unfortunately there was nothing. She shrugged it off and went down from her bed to take a bath and get ready for the day.
"Girl's time for breakfast!" Mrs. Lee said as she places down the last plate of food
"Good morning eomma" Chaeryeong said and kissed her mom at the cheek
"Good morning sweetie" her mom greeted back
"Are your sisters awake already?" Mrs. Lee asked but Chaeryeong just shooked her head
"I don't know eomma but where is appa?" Chaeryeong asked
"Maybe he's at the garden outside again, go call him so he can eat with us" Mrs. Lee said and Chaeryeong nodded while smiling. She hurriedly went out and find for her father outside at the garden.
"Appa!" Chaeryeong called out and ran towards her dad and gave him a hug as a good morning
"You're early today Chaerry" Mr. Lee said
"Mhm" Chaeryeong responded with a nod
"What are you doing here appa?" Chaeryeong asked as the two of them sat at the bench
"Just thinking some stuffs" Mr. Lee said and smiled softly while looking at the distance.
Chaeryeong then rested her head on her father's shoulder
"Do you have a girlfriend already?" he suddenly asked Chaeryeong
Chaeryeong's POV
"Do you have a girlfriend already?" he asked me
"It's funny that you guys keep asking me that" I said and chuckled
"Well it's really just about time you have that, I mean, you're eighteen already and it just makes sense that you would be already dating someone" appa said
"I know appa, but I already have you guys and my friends by my side, so why do I even need a girlfriend" I said and chuckled once again.
He kept quiet, but I guess he wasn't really mad
"Let's go inside, your mom might get mad that I'm not eating early" he said and the both of us walked back inside the house
"Now you guys are here we should eat now" mom said and we all sat down to eat. Chaeyeon unnie looks like she was ready as well as Chaemin.
"Where are we going today appa?" Chaemin asked dad
"Maybe at the mall but it still depends on you guys" he said and we all nodded
"Hurry up and eat your breakfast, so that we can do more things later" mom said and we all agreed and started to eat
After eating we brushed our teeth and got ready to leave the house.
Dad decided that we would go to the mall first and then go to the park, lastly, go to the night market and go home.
We soon reached the mall and walked around, mom and dad went to shoos just to buy things for themseleves and for us.
"Would you like this Chaeryeong? I guess it looks good on you" mom said as she shows me the outfit
"Eomma, I still have a lot of clothes at the house, no need to buy me new ones" I told her because she akways buy clothes for us, for sure she can use the money for something else
"Are you sure sweetie?" She asked me and I nodded at her
"Okay, but I will buy you next time when we go here" she said and I just nodded with a smile, I don't want to be arguing with mom just because of buying clothes.
After walking a few more minutes, mom and dad stayed at the food court which mean me, Chaeyeon unnie and Chaemin can walk around more.
I was walking to one of those shops not until I bumped into someone
"I'm very sorry, I'm sorry for bumping into you" I said nervously as I bowed
"It's okay, it's fine Chae- Chaeryeong?" the lady said so I looked up and saw it was eomma Shin, Ryujin's mom
"Oh, eomma Shin" I said in shock as I looked at her
"Are you alone sweetie?" she asked me
"Oh, I'm not eomma Shin, mom and dad are just at the food court" I said and she nodded
"Aigoo, you're really growing up fast and beautiful" she said and it made me shy. I just thanked her a bowed
"Well, you should get going dear, your mom and dad might find for you" she said and I nodded
"Nice seeing you today eomma Shin" I said and hugged her quickly before leaving the shop and walking back to mom and dad.
"Now you're back, where were you?" Chaeyeon unnie asked me as she was seated beside eomma
"oh, I bumped into eomma Shin, oh, I mean, Mrs. Shin" I said
"Really? you should have told us, we could have lunch together" Mom said
"I think they're still at *******" I said and she nodded and started to pack her things
"Let's go and have lunch with them" eomma said so I led her the way to the shop where I saw eomma Shin.
As soon as mom and eomma Shin were talking we started ro walk towards one of the restaurants.
"Oh unnie" I heard someone said so I turned around and saw Yuna.
"Yuna!" I shouted and hugged her tightly
"Hey Ryeong" I heard someone said so I turned the other way and saw Ryujin.
"Ryuddaeng" I said and hugged her tightly as well and we both laughed
"Seems like we're stuck for lunch now" she said and I agreed, we just talked and talked until we reached the restaurant.
Our dads and moms kept talking to each other and then I just noticed Chaeyeon unnie smirking at me so I just looked at her weirdly and continued to talk with Ryujin.
"Oh Chaeryeong, there's this baseball game coming this year, I forgot what Yeji unnie said but she said it was moved due to some issues, would you like to watch?" Ryujin asked me.
Wow! A baseball game! wahh! I really love those.
"Sure Ryuddaeng, I'll join" I said excitedly and she just nodded as she chuckled
"I'll tell Yeji unnie tomorrow" she said and I nodded
The food then came and we all started to eat. After eating our parents decided to walk around the mall together, I guess the trip to the park is cancelled today.
Me and Ryujin were like in our own worlds that's why we were a little bit far away from our parents
"Stop flirting with her, it makes me feel single you know" I heard someone whisper in my ear so I turned my head and it was Chaeyeon unnie
"I wasn't" I said to her confused
"Mhm, keep on hugging her and then holding her hand would actually seem like flirting" she said and then chuckled before leaving me and Ryujin alone.
I really don't know what's up with unnie and dad today.
