A Second Meeting

Alex knocked on the big wooden door and waited a second as he was met by no response.

"Come in." A voice called from behind the door.

Alex pushed the door open and stepped inside before kicking it shut behind him.

"Mr. Brighten please refrain from kicking my door." Vaughn said annoyed as he turned in his swivel chair to look at Alex.

"I'm assuming the authorities contacted the school about my detainment?" Alex asked as he sat down in the chair opposite of the headmaster.

"I'm afraid so. Can I ask why you were detained? They left out most of the details."

"I was on my way home last night when I got jumped. The rest is pretty self explanatory."

Vaughn let out a deep sigh and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"No worry's Alex. I assumed the authorities would be making moves on Wellston but this is sooner then I expected it. Please keep your eye open for anything out of the ordinary."

"I will Headmaster."

"Good you're dismissed."

Alex nodded and pushed himself up from the chair before making his way out of the room. As the blond walked through the halls he peaked up at one of the clocks hanging from the walls.

Huh it's already 3rd period? Looks like that's a good enough excuse for me to skip till lunch.

The blond smirked and took a left followed by another right until he stood at the base of a stairwell. Quickly then blond climbed his way to the top and pushed open the door and frowned when he found no one else on the rooftop.

"Huh wonder where everyone is." The blond said to himself as he walked up to the edge of the building.

As the blond looked over the edge he saw a black car pull up and stop right in front of the school. Both doors flew open and two people stepped out. One man and one woman, both people Alex had met before.

"Shit." Alex mumbled under his breath as he watched the two figures walk forward only to be met by Keene who looked like he was waiting for them.

The blond turned heel and made his way back into the building before taking off towards the infirmary.

As the blond ran through the halls, he luckily didn't run into anyone until he made it to the infirmary doors. Standing right next to the entrance was Arlo and Elaine.

As the two saw Alex come into view they both stopped talking and kept their eyes on him.

"John Doe please report to the headmaster's office." The speaker system boomed.

As the three stood in a standstill the door to the infirmary swung open revealing none other then John himself. The black haired boy stepped into the hallway but stopped when he saw everyone in front of him.

Alex saw a roller coaster of emotions go though Johns facial expressions until he stopped on a blank one. The boy slowly trudged his way past the group not even batting an eye at Alex until he made it to the end of the hall and turned.

"Move" Alex said as he broke the silence and pushed past Elaine.

"Don't touch me cripple!" The girl yelled as she regained her senses.

"Ass." Alex mumbled under his breath as he pushed open the door to the infirmary and stepped inside.

"Doc you in here?" Alex called into the empty room.
