Rain
Droplets free falling from the dark layer of clouds
Through the misty air onto the earth
Washing away the dirt on the ground
Droplets streaming from those bloodshot eyes
Down the pale cheeks onto the soaking fabric
Washing away the pain and regret
Tears
Thunder
Sounds muffled in the thick clouds high in the sky
Created by collisions that we all see
Loudly shattering the silence
Sounds muffled in the thick pillow on the bed
Created by sufferings that we can't see
Silently ripping the heart apart
Crying
Lightning
Unpredictably appears in the clouds
Swiftly dashing across the dark sky
Followed by a mighty roar
Unpredictably creeps into the mind
Swiftly hurling things across the room
Followed by a fed up groan
Anger
Silence
A break from rain and thunder and lightning
When everything seems to be fine again
Perhaps even a streak of sunlight may show
A break from help and pity and comforting
When everything seems to be fine again
Perhaps even a stiff smile may show
Lies
