Clark vs a Pig

The morning came and the group had arrived in a little town in New Mexico called Cloudcroft. The town was surrounded by pine trees and snow, lots of snow. It was also cold do to the town being nestled in the mountains. None of that bothered Clark though as he was to busy thinking about the night before. The thought of being watched all his live didn't sit well with him. Clark was so out of it that it wasn't until they reached the center of the town that he realized what was happening.

Thalia: great no way out.

Grover: but there is a coffee shop.

Zoe: yes coffee is good.

Thalia: fine Grover and Zoe you guys go to the coffee shop and get us something to eat. Percy, Bianca, and I will go to the grocery store to see if we can get some directions. Met in front of the grocery store in fifteen minutes.

Clark had to admit that he was impressed. The way Thalia took charge was amazing. That however was quickly but to the side when another thought came to his head.

Clark: and what am I supposed to do?

Thalia had completely forgotten about Clark. She really didn't have anything for him to do. Even if she did she didn't believe he could do it. Clark was nice but she didn't see him as someone who could handle himself.

Thalia: oh you can.......watch are stuff.

As she said that she handed her bag to Clark. Pretty soon everyone was doing the same. Clark eventually had so much stuff in his hands that he ended up falling over.

Zoe: be careful with my stuff boy.

Clark: don't you worry careful is my middle name. In fact a guy once told me Clark you have got to be the most.......and there gone.

They all left to go do the stuff they were assigned. This left Clark by himself. With no one watching he easily picked up everyone's things and began to walk to the grocery store.

Clark: I'll just go ahead and wait for them I guess.

Clark made it to the front of the grocery store, sat everyone's stuff down and waited. The first ones to come back were Percy and Bianca. They seemed to be in a conversation so Clark tried not to interfere. He did notice that after awhile the conversation seemed to turn sour. It was then that Zoe and Grover came back with there food. They past out the stuff but before Grover could hand Clark his Zoe spoke up distracting him.

Zoe: we should try the tracking spell. Grover do you have any more acorns?

Grover: I-I think so I just need to.......

Grover stopped as a breeze blew past. The breeze smelled of spring. It reminded Clark of spring on the farm. Clark was brought out of his memory of home when Grover's cup came to life. The birds on the cup along with Percy's toy rat just up and left. Then out of nowhere Grover collapsed. When everyone tried to wake all he did was grown. If that wasn't bad enough Thalia came running up looking like she was being chased.

Thalia: hey I just.......what's wrong with Grover?

Percy: I don't know he collapsed.

Thalia: well get him up. We have to get out of here.

Clark: what's wrong?

Thalia: no time, let's go!

Clark grabbed Grover and began to help him walk. The group managed to get to the end of town. But that's when two large skeleton warriors dressed like state troopers stepped out blocking their path. The two skeleton troopers pulled there guns and in response the group pulled there weapons.
