Ten laid against Yangyang's dark brown beanbag while the other had spread out against his bed, papers surrounding the two of them. "You know, when I decided to major in music, I thought I'd be making it. Not studying it's theory..."

"You'll get there, babe," Ten said, clearly not paying enough attention to the younger's complaints. The blond pushed the papers off his bed before throwing a pillow at Ten's head. "Hey! Can you get off your phone for just a minute? You're hanging out with me, not your mystery Gindr guy, Ten."

"It's definitely not to late to change that. What's up? Why are you so stressed? Is Music Theory getting to you that much?" Obviously, not. Yangyang always could blast through his classes despite hating them. All he wanted to do was make music and his soundcloud wasn't getting the justice it deserved. His mind was on something else- Someone else.

He sighed heavily, putting his hands on the back of his head and falling back onto his bed. "I want to ask Renjun on a date." Ten's face scrunched up in disgust, turning his phone off and standing to move next to Yangyang's side. "Oh, my poor Yang. Are you feeling okay? Are you out of your goddamn mind? Do you have a death wish? Please suppress the masochism and desire of degradation for now." Yangyang kicked his best friend's thigh in response. "It's not like that! I know, like, nothing about him. Other than he's a spoiled brat."

It wasn't a romantic advance, per se. Yangyang was really interested in Renjun's life. The two had been fucking around for about five months now and their "deep meaningful conversations" had always been mostly Yangyang speaking and Renjun drowning his voice out before falling asleep on his chest. He knew there was more to the vicious male behind the misanthropy and violence. No one is born evil, right? Something had to have made him this way.

"Shit! New headline?" Ten's voice retracted Yangyang from his thoughts, the other jumping onto his knees and levitating over Ten's shoulder to take a peek at his phone screen. "HEADLINE: Huang Renjun spotted with ex-boyfriend Lee Donghyuck." Yangyang's heart dropped into his stomach. "Maybe he is the dating type... Sorry, bro." Yangyang shook his head, brushing Ten's words off. "Why would he be with someone he cheated on? Is Donghyuck that stupid to trust him again?" He said in annoyance. It wasn't even like it happened once. Renjun's relationships were never honest or healthy and certainly didn't last long. It wasn't a surprise to anyone when word got out that he was dating Lee Jeno at the same time he was with Lee Donghyuck. Even Yangyang wasn't surprised since that was the week they had went the longest without fighting. The night the news broke out, the two boys had both went home with yellowish bruises on their faces and matching cuts on their lips. "Am I so boring that you have to fuck two other guys during the day?" He had said, his voice cracking from the amount of hurt he had felt.

Renjun was just sneaky like that. He didn't care enough to hide his cheating habits, but he was smart with his scheduling so that the three had never met. He liked the attention and that was the only reason he didn't want the boys to leave him. Throughout all of Renjun's shit relationships in the past five months, Yangyang was always the last one standing. He was like a drug he couldn't quit. The frustration and adrenaline Renjun made him feel ran through his veins.

"At the end of the day, who's bed am I in?" Renjun had asked him one night. Like a fool, Yangyang believed him. He thought maybe he could handle sharing if it meant Renjun felt even the slightest of liking towards him. Looking back on it now, he can laugh in embarrassment. There was not a single thing the dark-haired boy had said to him that he hadn't said to all of his other lovers.
