YOUR POV

i woke up in my soft and cozy queen sized bed to my alarm going off. i slightly opened up my eyes to look at the bright screen of my phone, reading 6:00 in the morning. it's a friday so its the best day of the week...that got me out of my bed so fast. after leaving my room, i slowly trudged to the bathroom, done my business, and took a shower. i put on my music playlist titled "morning jams," once i finished, i combed out y/h/c hair, dried up, and went back to my room. since im going to school, i decided on a black tank top, a black crop top over the shirt, and a black skirt. i went downstairs and put on my black flats, grabbed my bag and put my notebooks, pencil case, folders, wallet with $20, my macbook air, and of course, my phone. i put my bag on the couch, made myself a bowl of cereal, and watched tv. i finished my cereal, grabbed my bag, and headed out the door. 

i got in my black honda and turned on the radio to 101.1 FM. it only took me 10 minutes to get to school and parked it right next to the entrance. as i got out of my car, i walked past him...his name is dan howell. he had brown straight hair as a fringe swooped to the side of his head. he had hazel eyes that seemed to always stare at me when i walked past. he had accentuate lips that were bright pink and if im being honest, i wanted to kiss him. between you and me, i have a huge crush on him. normally, i would catch him on the floor reading a book..he was a really quiet person. but today was different.

Dan's POV:

after staying up all night, i had finally finished it. im going to ask my crush to prom. her name is y/n. she had flowy y/h/c hair that was always up in a ponytail, bright y/e/c that i always want to look into and get lost in, huge lips that i had always imagined kissing. i made a pretty interesting sign with a gift as well. i always overheard her and her friends and she would forever say she wants to be a princess. so i got her a tiara and wrote on a card "every princess needs a tiara for the ball...will you be my princess for the prom?" when i realized it was 6am, i decided to surprise her by wearing a black tuxedo with a black bowtie that really fit my horrible body. i put on my most fanciest dress shoes, packed my bag, and walked to school. 

i live literally right next to the school so i walked to school while eating a granola bar. i had her present and an extra surprise for when she steps foot on the school. when i finally got to school, i brung rose petals and put them in a line, leading to the schoolyard where she will get asked to prom. i also made flowers in a circle with me in the middle so she can be extra surprised. as i waited for her, i went on my phone and waited and waited. i looked up and saw her...

YOUR POV:

when i stepped foot on school property, i saw rose petals on the floor saying: "y/n follow me." ofc feeling the lump in my throat, i trusted my instinct and followed the petals, leading me into the schoolyard. i was so surprised, i wondered who is behind all of this? when i realized the rose petals ended, i looked up to see dan howell in a circle, filled with roses. i teared up, realizing what was happening. 

"y/n, ive been wanting to do this for a very, very long time, and i think now is the perfect time to do it. first off, im just gonna say this, i have a crush on you. youre probably thinking to yourself why would i have a crush on you? well, youre beautiful, hard-working, kind to everyone, extremely funny, and above all, the best person i have ever met. i have something to give to you. i always hear you say you want to be a princess and now you can. you are a princess and i want you to be my princess."

it was a silver tiara with sparkles all over it. i am still shocked. it also came with a little note saying,"every princess needs a tiara for the ball...will you be my princess for the prom?"

"y/n, wanna go to prom with me?"

"dan, i would love to go to prom with you and theres something i need to confess as well. i have a crush on you too...ive had a crush on you for a very long time. i think you are extremely hot, you are caring, kind, funny, and the best person ive ever met."

he just stared at me in shock and i just hugged him. i hugged him so tight, i never want to let go of him. he rested his head on top of mine and we just stayed there. i am so so so happy that we both love each other and we are each others dates. 

i can't believe im saying this but this has been the best day of school ever.
