Chapter 4

Feriha Hatun

"How do you know my name?" He asked me. "I-I don't know. The name just feels familiar. I didn't know it was your name, I'm sorry" I told him, looking down. "It's just, I think I was married to a man with the same name as you, well for like five minutes before I got kidnapped anyways. It's funny, you look just like him" I mumbled.

"Feriha...It really is you!" He exclaimed happily. "What?" I asked him confused. "I've missed you so much, my beautiful flower!" He said before embracing me  in a tight hug, well as tight as he could with my healing injuries. Wait a second. Does he mean...He's my husband? "Are you telling me you're Ertugrul, my husband?!" I asked in shock. "Yes! Yes Feriha!" He all but yelled.

Our moment was cut short however, by a loud banging sound from outside. "What's that?" I asked Ertugrul. "That's the drums my love, it appears we have a visitor to the tribe. I will go and have a look, you stay here and don't worry. I will be back soon" he said and placed a kiss on my head before leaving.

The tribe's people including Suleyman Shah, Bey if the Kayi tribe and his wife Hayme Ana gathered outside their tents to the centre of the tribe. When they go there, they saw a group of soldiers and one of Sultan Aladdin's commanders. Karatoyagar. He spoke to Suleyman Shah in a rude manner and waffled on about how Ertugrul had stolen the Templar's prisoners. Ertugrul was unsure about how he even knew until Karatoyagar raised Turgut's axe in the air and said that the people who stole the prisoners left the axe behind.

Ertugrul sighed. He leaned over to Turgut and asked him how he could forget his weapon. Turgut remained silent, so that he wouldn't say anything to make Ertugrul angry and cause a scene. Ertugrul was not angry at Turgut, he was just annoyed that he forgot his weapon. He was, however angry at Karatoyagar for being so disrespectful to his father. Ertugrul turned his attention back to Karatoyagar in time to hear the last thing he said to his father. "Return the prisoners to me within three days, or else!" Before he rode away on his horse.

I need to speak to my father but first I should tell Feriha what happened. No doubt she will be worrying even though I told her not to. I walked quickly to the medical tent and entered. She sat up as soon as she saw me. "Ertugrul. Please sit down. You look stressed" she said to me. I nodded and sat down. "Well, will you tell me what happened?" She questioned. "I think I've put our tribe into a bit of trouble..."
