Chapter 6

A/N: this is set in season 1 but Selçan is not evil in this

Feriha Hatun

We headed into the marquee hand in hand and everyone smiled at us. Except a girl that Ertugrul told me was Halime. She looked at us with an angry glare. What's her problem? I turned away from her and looked towards everyone else. Ertugrul stepped forward and kissed Suleyman Shah's hand and gave him a hug whilst I did the same with Hayme Ana. Then I moved to Suleyman Shah and kissed his hand whilst Ertugrul embraced his mother. We then sat down to eat dinner which Selçan Baçi had cooked, it looked absolutely delicious.

"Welcome back daughter!" Suleyman Shah exclaimed from the head of the table. He sat with Hayme Ana on his right. "Thank you father" I replied with a smile. I then noticed Gundogdu sat next to Hayme and Ertugrul next to him and then Dundar at the end. On the other side of Suleyman Shah sat Gokçe, then Selçan, then me and Halime at the end. Ertugrul made a short dua for us and then with Bey's permission, we began to eat. I began eating and oh! Was it amazing. I never knew I would have a sister in law who is such a good cook.

"Selçan Baçi, I think you may have magic hands or something because your food is delicious!" I said, turning to face her with a grin. "Thank you sister" she replied, beaming. "Feriha is right, my beautiful daughter this is truly amazing, it might be better than Hayme's" Suleyman Shah joked.

Everyone burst into laughter at that but my Ertugrul's laughter was the most amazing. "So Bey, why did you ask us here so urgently?" Halime asked breaking the silence that had followed. "Ah yes. I almost forgot. Karatoyagar paid our tribe a visit today. He says that some alps from our tribe attacked the Templars and stole the prisoners that were being taken to Konya. Those prisoners were Halime and her Family. He said if we do not hand them over, they will begin an attack on our tribe" he finished.  "Well, we should just hand them over then, Father. Do we really want to put our people in danger?" Gundogdu piped up.

"This time, Bey, I agree with my brother" Ertugrul spoke from across me. " Yes, our people wish for martyrdom but this battle can surely be prevented. If Sultan Aladdin himself has ordered it we should agree" he concluded. Halime glared at both brothers from across the table. "Hayme,  what do you think?" My bey asked. "I will accept whatever you decide but I do also agree with our children" Hayme spoke. "Alright then, we will hand them over tomorrow. But not to Karatoyagar, I dont trust that swine.  We will send them back to our sultan with some Alps" Suleyman Shah decided. At his words, Halime ran out of  the tent crying.
