April 2011- France

Hi all! I am so so sorry for my hiatus (and sorry for using that word). The support I've gotten over these last two months has been awesome, and I didn't realize some of y'all really liked these so much. Anyway, I'm back.

I want to write what you guys want (and I have a huge list of ideas), but comment here what you want to see next and I'll choose from the first three ideas:

Again, thanks for the support and enjoy this one! Hope everyone is doing okay. ♥️♥️:)

Stan kicked a large pile of snow, breaking it and sending snow flying over Louis' ski trousers. "Hey!" Louis yelled. Stan grinned and stuck out his tongue, making Louis jump at him. They rolled around on the ground for a moment, and Harry shivered for their sakes.

Finally Louis got up, shivering a bit, but still flashed Harry a bright warm grin. Harry's heart stopped. It always did when Louis smiled at him.

Stan got up too, grunting about Louis tackling him in the snow for absolutely no prompted reason, and Louis started yelling back about kicking snow and now his clothes were going to be wet for the rest of the day and it was all Stan's fault.

Harry giggled softly. He was a bit cold too, but at least he wasn't sopping wet like Louis and Stan were now. Stan had decided on a red jumper and neon yellow ski pants for some reason. He swore up and down they were the only ones his family had leftover from his older brother when Louis had complained to him about being easily spotted.

Harry liked Stan, really. He seemed like a genuinely good person. He was in love with Louis anyway, so he might as well be friends with his friends. It was just that Stan was Louis' friend. Which was great, awesome, of course Harry wanted Louis to have friends. He just couldn't help but pause a moment when Louis ran to grab Stan's arm to point something out. And his heart clenched a little when he saw them laughing together.

Of course, Harry knew Louis had known Stan his entire life and only known Harry for about a year. But, he had been so excited to go on a ski trip with just Louis, the love of his life, and when Louis had invited Stan without even asking Harry, he couldn't help but step back a bit. He hadn't said anything, and Louis just seemed so happy with the both of them, so Harry let him have it. They could go on another vacations, just the two of them. They had the rest of their lives, after all.

"Harry!" Stan called. Harry blinked back to reality, glancing over to see Louis and Stan a bit ahead of him, headed for the ski lift.

"Come on, son," said a low voice behind him, and Harry jumped and turned until he realized it was just John, their security guard. He quickly ran after Stan and Louis.

Harry had been going on family ski trips for a couple years now, so at least he had that going for him, and he wouldn't look like a bumbling fool. He was the only one though, apparently. It ended up being up to him and a poor young ski instructor to try and get Louis and Stan to be able to go down a small hill without falling or impaling themselves with their poles. It was not easy. The instructor had a thick French accent and kept saying "Up, up, up!" when they fell, but it sounded more like oop, oop, oop.

Stan and Louis kept falling and then bursting into laughter and not getting up for a full five minutes because they kept slipping. Harry could tell the instructor was just about done.

After about an hour, Stan managed to go down the full hill without falling. Louis pouted and turned to Harry. "Why can't I do that?" he whined.

"You can," Harry told him.

"No, I can't," said Louis. He took off his hat and handed it to Harry. "Harold, you must wear my hat and pretend to be me and uphold my reputation."
