This is just Floris and Rylan's full talk. I wasn't sure if I was ever going to include the full conversation later on in my story, so I put it here for some context. It's very short.

Video is an audio edit by nxphilimaudios of the song I'm a Mess by Bebe Rexha. Pic is a cover for the I Can't Handle Change of Ranboo by Vita.

Trigger Warning(s): unsafe binding, mentions of taking unprescribed pills, implied death

*note* As I edited last chapter, Fundy's name is meant to be Floris, and I totally space that when writing this the couple of times. Apologies, his name is now changed.

  Rylan's POV (duh):

As I stood up, picking up my empty foam cup and wrappers, Floris stopped me from leaving.

I gave him a curious look.

"May I have a word?" he asked.

I blinked, caught off guard. I glanced at Tommy and Toby in uncertainty. They held a silent conversation of their own for maybe two seconds, then Toby nodded at me. They both sent me a smile and then vanished outside the doors.

I swallowed hard, wondering what he wanted to ask me. Did I need to start taking anxiety pills like Tommy? I had no clue, but I couldn't help but feel nervous.

He drew me to the side and made sure no one was listening before taking me by the shoulders. My breath caught, and for a moment we just stared at each other.

"Rylan," he said, dead serious, "you're trans, correct."

How did he know? "Um, uh- yeah?"

He placed a hand on my ribs and I gasped, wincing away. "Why haven't you taken off your binder?" he asked me.

I pulled away from him, cautiously massaging his chest. "I-I forgot," I stuttered. "Last night was-was a bit long."

Floris still looked completely serious. "Rylan, that stuff can kill you. I don't want to see another young teenager go that way."

There are other things that are more likely to kill me first. I bit my lip, wondering if I should say sorry, or something else.

Floris sighed, then pulled a pen from his pocket and held out a hand. Confused, I just kinda stared at his proffered hand. "Your arm," he said.

After a moment's hesitation, I gave him my arm. He scrawled something on it, and then tucked the pen into his pocket again. "Give me a call sometime," he said. I glanced at my arm. It was indeed a number.

Trying to give me an encouraging smile, he jerked his head at the door. "Should we join them?"

I gave a weak smile, still feeling extremely confused. "Yeah." I put my mask and sunglasses back on before we left the building.

  As I said, very short.
