When I got the job I was so excited that it was very close to my apartment which meant 1 I wouldn't have to wake up as early and 2 I wouldn't have to drive as far. But since we are only filming here for about 2 months I will have to enjoy it. After the 2 months we head for Atlanta to film over there for another 2 months and then come back to finish in LA for another 2 months. This is what I love about this job. I have always wanted to travel but my previous jobs were just local. So this is definitely a plus side to this wonderful job.

I arrive at the Marvel set at 7:55 and see many cars parked in the parking lot and once I find a parking spot I get off and head to the front offices to get my badge. When they called me that I got the job they had explained what to do when I get there and what will happen. So I went to the office and got my badge. " Go around the office to the left and you will see a security checkpoint and they'll let you in from there" the front desk lady said. "Thank you" I said. I followed her directions and sure enough I ended up at the security checkpoint and went to set. As I was getting closer I saw a girl maybe my age waiting on the outside of building "Are you Y/N Y/L/N" she said with a smile on her face.
"Yes" I say a little confused with a smile.

"I'm Clarissa and I will be showing you around today so you can get used to set and get in the routine of it all today." she told me excitedly.

"That would be so awesome, I heard I am the only newbie around here so I was kinda hoping I could make a friends to kinda show me how things work around here" I exhale out easing my anxiety.

"Of course, I was once in your shoes once and trust me I was actually way worse" she laughs and i laugh along with her.
"So today I will be showing you where your work station is and where my personal favorite is, craft services" she chuckles

"Oh, Clarissa we are going to get along just fine" I laugh

We are walking and she is showing me where everything is to the cast trailers, equipment storage, craft services, bathrooms, and finally hair and makeup trailers. Thankfully the crew had to be there an hour earlier to set up and get everything ready so I was able to meet all the hair and makeup crew which consisted of Josh, Erin, Shayla, Clarissa, Drew, Daisy, and Kate. There were a lot more people throughout the whole set but were are all broken up in different trailers, these were the people that were in this trailer. They were all super nice and I could tell we were going to get along very well except for one person.

As soon as I walked in Kate looked me up and down and just kinda like looked away while everybody else greeted me. Now don't get me wrong I don't expect all the attention and everyone to gawk over me or anything like that but damn she was being a bitch. Like I said we all shook a hands and introduced ourselves and when I walked up to Kate she just gave me a very cold greeting.

"Hey, I'm Y/N, I am going to be working with you all" I say and stick my hand out to shake hers.

She stares at me with a certain look that I can't place and says "hey" and turned back to whatever she was doing.

After that I kinda just shrugged it off not wanting to get into an argument on the first day and followed Clarissa outside.

"Sooo Clarissa is Kate always a ummm...uhh" I say nervously

" A bitch? yes" she says

"good to know" I laugh

Clarissa looks down at her watch and realizes it's about 8:45 and says " We gotta head back to the trailer the cast is going to be here soon"

I pull out my phone and look at the time "okay I am just going to go to the bathroom really quick and will be right in."

"Alright" she says

As I am walking to the bathroom everything starts to settle in and I am doing everything I have always wanted to do. After I am finished in the bathroom I ahead out to the hair/makeup trailer but as I am looking down at my phone for a second I collided with someone that literally feels like a wall. As soon as I come in contact he wraps his arms around me to catch me.

"I am so so sorry"

I am an idiot

"I should have looked where I was going" I say talking very fast and shaking my head without even looking up at him once because I am filled with embarrassment

"Hey hey it's alright" his deep but soft voice catches me off guard as I look up

Thats when I realize who he is

I feel like the first few chapter are slow so please just bare with me. I am just trying to explain everything before getting deep into the story. but we are finally meeting chris. If you have any advice please comment or message me. I take requests. hope you like my book so far!🤍
