And he's still holding onto me and I clear my throat and he lets go of me while I attempt to cover my face that I am sure has changed to a bright rose color.
"Are you okay?" he says softly
"Yeah Im fine" I say awkwardly
"Gotta be careful next time don't want you to get hurt"he says cheekily
As he is saying this I study his features and damn he is even hotter in person. His eyes are ocean blue which makes them very easy to get lost in them and I see that he has a nose that is slightly crooked but still looks so handsome.
"I'll try to be more careful next time" I laugh
"I'm Chris" he says with the most attractive smile I have ever seen and extends his hand to shake mine.
"Kinda put that together" I chuckled
"Of course you did" he breathed out
"Don't worry I'm not a fan" I say nervously but as the words slip out I realize they come out very very wrong and rudely.
He looked at me with an awkward look and I mentally kick myself.
"Oh my god I didn't mean it like that... I- i meant like not a crazy obsessed fan... you know like-"
I try to get out trying to find out the right words to say when I get cut off.
He laughs "Hey hey no worries I know what you meant" he says with a smile
"I am so sorry I'm usually don't get this nervous when meeting new people."
"Good to know I seem to have that affect on you" he says with a smirk
omg
is he flirting??
what do I say to that??
and I realize I never even told him my name
"Omg I haven't even told you my name...i'm y/n" I say
"Well, hello y/n" he smiles
That's when I hear a ding coming from my pocket and see it's a text from Clarissa.
"Sorry" I look up at him with a smile
FROM CLARISSA:
where are u???
TO CLARISSA:
omw got a little distracted
I send the text and return to talking to Chris to say goodbye
"I actually have to go but I will see you soon around" I state
"see me around" he says confused. "Yeah I am a hair/makeup stylist"
"Really?? I guess I will see you again very soon actually" he says happily. "Yeah you will. I really gotta go though, don't want to get fired on the first day" I chuckle as I am walking away. But as I put some distance between us I can feel his stare on me but it's not a creepy/uncomfortable it's one that I can't quite explain. As I am getting closer to the hair/makeup trailer I replay our conversation in my head and can't help but wonder if he was flirting with me. What am I thinking though of course he wasn't flirting. Why would he flirt with me?
Are you guys liking the story so far?? Next chapter will be a POV of Chris during/after their encounter! I'm going to start doing longer chapters because I personally like them a lot more. Do you guys like long or short chapters?
