Chapter 26

VERY SHORT CHAPTER
ALSO VERY MUCH A FILLER CHAPTER (I KNOW BORING LOL)

Next day

Why?
Was all I kept thinking while I lied down in the hotel bed.

Why didn't he just tell me? Was he even really telling the truth or am I just so blinded by my love that I don't see the truth?

I groan and pick up my phone from the bedside table.

5:00

I sigh knowing I barely got any sleep. Today is going to be a long day. Thankfully Chris has the day off. I don't think I can deal with seeing him today.

I slowly get myself up to get ready to go to work.

I don't really feel like doing too much today so I put my hair into a messy cute low bun and put in a pair of leggings and a crew neck.

I finish getting ready and get into my car to go to set.

I'm following through my playlist which consists of 80/90s which reminds me of Chris and Is car rides.

"Ugh." I groan and just settle on putting some classic Taylor Swift to clear my mind.

You're on the phone with your girlfriend she's upset

I drum my fingers to the beat and sing along quietly.

I didn't want to show people what was going on so I act as if everything is fine. And if anybody asked I just got upset with Kate and that was that.

So I put on my fake smile.

Thankfully Kate kept our little altercation to ourselves and so did the rest of the crew so there was no talks either with the Russos or HR.

I walk in the trailer and see Lily, Daisy, Josh, and Clarissa.

Which these were like my best friends on set.

"Hey girl!"

"Heyyy!" I tell them and they don't acknowledge what happened yesterday and we talk as normal.

We settled in and talked some more before the cast would start arriving.

"All right who do we got today Lil?" I ask Lily since she has the list.

"Let's see."
"We got RDJ, Holland, Pratt, and Gillan."

"Alright, Lily you got Holland, Josh, Pratt, Daisy, Gillan, and Y/n, RDJ." Clarissa, the manager of our area told us.

I'm happy I got RDJ. We have gotten very close and I feel like I can tell him anything.

Slowly the cast started arriving but I was still waiting for Robert to show up so I was sat in the makeup chair on my phone while everybody else was working and talking.

That's when another text came from Chris. He wasn't texting non stop but more here and there.

I sigh and put my phone down sinking into the chair.

"Long day already? Damn, y/l/n it's 7:00" Downeys voice comes form behind me.

"What can I say craft services was out of my favorite donut." I tell him and we laugh.

"Seriously though you doing okay?" He tells me low so only is two can hear.

"Yeah." I breathe out.
"Why wouldn't I be?" I question
He looks at me.

"Of course he told you." I sigh shaking my head.

I really didn't want this to be a big thing with everybody which was why i was hoping Chris wouldn't tell anyone. But Robert is one of his closest friend and I trust him.

"You know y/n im here to talk anytime." he tells me seriously.
"Thank you." I tell him.
"of course. now can we please get back to work and beautify this face even more please."
he changes the subject quickly sensing I don't want to talk about it.

I finish getting him ready and he goes onto set leaving me in the trailer to clean up before I go out there.

Once I finish cleaning my station I go out to the set to help with touch ups and try to keep my mind of Chris the rest of the day.

Hiiii! It's been a while! I have just been having majors writers block but I think what this book needed was a filler chapter lol. So yes this is very much a filler chapter as you can probably tell. But next chapter will be better I just need to kinda connect these next chapters together. So i'm sorry this chapter sucks lmao. Next chapter will be full of time skips and flashbacks because it's gonna be how y/n and chris are going through the break up while having to work together.
